This video was filmed at a MMM concert in 2017. The medley consists of snippets of some of the songs they had performed on the long running and well respected singing competition tv show Immortal Songs 2. On that show current artists cover classic (immortal) songs, often as a tribute to an older artist who is present as the honored guest. Mamamoo appeared on Immortal Songs 14 times between 2015-19 and Solar later competed as a soloist. Each is a spectacular vocal showcase. Highly recommended. The tv network used to block reactions but some folks have uploaded reactions in the last year or two so maybe they changed their policy. Back then Immortal Songs was dominated by famous mainstream singers with some of the best voices in Korea. Idol groups rarely appeared on the show and usually fared poorly in the competition. Mamamoo was the first girl group to win on Immortal Songs and the first idol group of either gender to win multiple episodes (3).

Just so you know, Dingo Killing Voice has autotune. Mamamoo's performance has it very lightly done. You can still hear their breathing. No names, but some of the other groups have it applied more liberally, and you can tell if you listen with that in mind. This performance, as far as I can tell, has only a little reverb on their mics. There is no backing track. They have a live band and backup vocalists. If you watch the original full performances on Immortal Song 2, the conditions are the same. Check out their cover of Tom Jones' old classic, Delilah. You will be even more impressed by Hwasa.

Looks like this has been mentioned... but no reason not to mention it agian This was for their 2017 concert, named ‘Mamamoo Concert Moosical: Curtain Call’ they picked their version of the songs they sang during the show "IMMORTAL SONGS", performing an Eleven-Minute long medley in the middle of a 3-4 Hour long concert. Solar was unhappy with her last Belt, because she had to stop to finish it.... Crazy Woman, Love Her. Not to mention the fact that they did it in those damn heals.

In my opinion this is the best vocal performance in kpop. All of the 14 appearances on the show Immortal Songs are amazing. Most of them would be blocked in a reaction, though some have gotten away with it. Well worth just watching on your own. From here there are many ways to approach their huge collection of tracks. They've never done anything tha was not worth listening to. My two personal favorite songs are Decalcomanie and Destiny. There is an MV for the first (part of the MV has another song Memory inserted). For Destiny the Queendom performance is safe to react to. Another choice would be the 4 season 4 colors title tracks Starry Night, Egotistic, Wind Flower, and Gogobebe. Or you could start at their debut Mr Ambiguous. You will eventually want to watch a guide. There are 3 good choices and they are different enough that you may want to wath more than one. The Purple Hawk from 2019 is the best for information about each individual member. The Moo Yt from 2022 is more up to date and is better for the group as a whole. Finally, Why Mamamoo is the Most Underrated Group is best for their impact on the Kpop industry.

If you like the medleys, the next one is newer from a couple of years ago on the Hwasa TV show. It was the last episode, video is called mamamoo hit songs live collection or something like that. It has the fill song 1llella, a medley of their group and solo songs and ends withe the full song ballad Paint Me. This is live and it is also to a live band, 1llella has a very different break in the middle from the MV. Otherwise any of the 400 videos are great. This is a group to always watch the live videos because they are so talented but their MVs are very well produced and worth watching. Their OSTs are album quality, like Woohoo which is a cell phone ad or Wanna Be Myself(clothing) or the various TV and Movie songs. Some unofficial videos like Wheein and Solar doing No Cool I'm sorry from their training days, Their pokemon song, love me and more. Solar has a lot of covers and stuff on her Solarsido youtube, you definitely want to see those. Moonbyul2da and Whee In are their youtube channels, some covers not as much as Solar. Hwasa is her youtube, she is not as active but there are covers she does out there as well.
