Nah. I always really liked this film. Was the best Superman ever. He was great in the role. The death of his adoptive father (Kevin Costner) really humanized him and made him relatable. The way he talks to him though he's not there (something anyone who's lost someone does). The flashbacks to his youth. This was a great film. Unfortunately things went downhill with the whole Justice League project, but Henry is Superman as far as I'm concerned, and I grew up watching the Christopher Reeves films.

Though I watched Spiderman 3 before. I watched this movie and the Avengers back to back and it is what made me love superheroes and the rest his history

I don't think things went down bad with the Justice League project if WB would've kept their meddling hands out of Snyder's business. It was a great setup to a type of world that we may see in time, but was absolutely epic through the Knightmare sequence and ending of Justice League. More to come eventually. I can see from the severe profit debt and a close sale of the DCU. Since DCU is basically connected to WB. Even if they do somehow manage to hold onto the DCU, it's inevitable that DC will sell and the real DC universe (Snyderverse) will be restored. DCU is headed into the direction of Marvel 2.0 and no true DC fan wants to watch that.

Christopher reeve carried the legacy of superman even after his death. No one tried to make a superman film while he was alive because he was superman. The only other superman to do that has been Henry cavil. As long as he lives and breathes he will always be superman to me. How he was treated over superman was a disgrace and their loss.
