In the first episode, Bo said the stolen fleet was making its way through the galaxy as mercenaries. It's possible some were recruited to free Gideon. That makes a bit more sense than the theory that Gideon actually has Mandalorian ties. But with this show, you never know.

I loved this episode with my whole heart! This and Bad Batch today were truly special. I do however not agree with the reactor and some people in the comments section. People still hating on the Sequels is getting old. It's like the Prequels where people will slowly stop caring that much and then realize that it's fine and still Star Wars. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Sequels, but that doesn't mean they need to be avoided. They need to be developed more so we can appreciate them better. Should they have done that when the movies came out? Yes, but this is the way to make it better. Just as Dave Filoni made everyone see the Prequels weren't bad with supplementary content, he's doing the same for the Sequels.

I believe it was Sabine Wren who may have captured Moff Gideon to try and get more information on Thrawn and Ezras whereabouts. But that’s just my theory. That would explain why beskar steel was found at the shuttle.

You do realize they have a finite amount of funds right? CGI consumes alot of their budget, so 4 Jedi's in a corridor being taken out by 4 Clones is not the issue/focus. Fans are never satisfied.

Since Mandalore isn't livable, being that it's glassed, they can't just go there. They need to bring supplies and make it livable. So having Nevarro be a place to gather and live and a base of operations makes sense. Besides some of them can still live there when they take Mandalore, provide security for Nevarro. It could be the first planet under their protection. The NR isn't helping the Outer Rim. The Mandalorians can take that position.

On the topic of Clones killing Jedi: I always think of the duality of Jango, the template for the troopers. In Episode II, he was killed by a Jedi Master, but about a minute before that he every easily mowed another Jedi down with his blaster. The other Jedi was a lot less experienced with swordplay and was caught off guard, and Jango was a very skilled marksman. I think that's what's happening when his clones rush the Jedi Temple. Those particular Clones are the 501st, the elite veterans of the Clone Wars, and the Jedi they're taking down are a lot less experienced than Master Windu. You even see some Padawan braids in that group if I recall. I believe those two factors intersect to explain why they're mowing some of them down easily.

I love your reactions!!! I LOVED seeing Zeb!!! I cheered, I clapped and I even cried...100% NO SHAME in admitting that. I hope we see more of the Ghost Crew in Ahsoka too...maybe even Ezra if they bring in Admiral Thrawn! I also hope to God that they don't tie in this wonderful incarnation of Star Wars with the garabge dumb of "sequels." I truly hope Jon & Dave can maintain their vision and stay true to what The Clone Wars and Rebels set up for us. I'm with you Skyman...I hope they stay true. This is the way.

Remember the Tales of the Jedi episode where Anakin trains Ahsoka with Rex and troopers from the 501st. Clones are superior over Battle Droids. Clones fought alongside the Jedi for years, Clones know how they fight. That's why the Jedi were slaughtered.

1. I lost my mind on the Zeb reveal too. 2.Possible reason for the beskar ALLOY in the mid credit scene. Mandos use PURE beskar for thier armor NOT alloys. Armor like that was only used on Impierial DARK TROOPERS. So it's possible some "other impierials saved Moff Gideon. And the only other Impierials mentioned in this series we know of is THRAWN. Could there be a Thrawn reveal in the next two episodes ???

I expect a lot of the Jedi who clones killed easily were padawans or less experienced knights, considering this was during the war and the most skilled Jedi were out fighting. Remember the Ahsoka training episode in tales of the Jedi, clones are quite a bit more skilled than one might expect

...I had a theory too that I shared with Star Wars Theory that I want to share with you. I believe that the show title "The Mandalorian" was never intended to be about Din Djarin...I think it was about the foundling, Grogu. I think this show is actually about him revisiting what Tarr Visla was...A Jedi Mandalorian. That's my thought anyway...keep up the GREAT WORK and take care mate! This is the way.

I agree with you with how the jedi were weak in thier reaction to order 66. Another good explanation i have heard in another video was that a lot of the jedi in the temple at the time were not as experienced in fighting such a massive force as the other jedi we are used to see which most of the war were on the front lines. Together with another notion of the jedi being caught by surprise and emotion from the betrayal of the clones and Anakin killing thier own which made a lot of the jedi in the temple lose thier focus due to emotional stress and thus they fought weaker then they could do. I enjoyed your reaction and you analysis before the episode ! Keep up with the good job 👍

I think the Mandalorian now is going to serve as a 'hub' series. Setting up other star wars series, Zeb is the first part of setting up Ashoka like it slowly set up the Boba Series. I love it personally but want Din to have a major storyline instead of being a bystander like he feels atm

The thing with Jedi is... They are at their most powerful when they are centered and one with the Force. When they are a conduit for the Force, and its will. A Jedi Knight, Master, and even Padawans at time are nigh unstoppable. Order 66 caught them off guard, and instilled fear into the Jedi. Very few were able to maintain their calm. This is what gave the 501st the advantage. Plus most of the Jedi at the Temple were teachers, diplomats, scientists and researchers. Those that could fight were out on the frontlines. So those that stayed back to train and look after the Younglings were not the Jedi's best fighters. Most of them practiced Niman or Forv VI lightsaber combat form. In this day in age it was known as the Diplomat's form. It was a Jack of all trades, but a master of none. Adaptable to many situations, but left them open to people that were focused on one or two particular forms. Add all this up. Jedi there are consulars, they were taken by surprised, disallowed to center themselves and fully connect with the Force, the more that die, the more the Jedi get desperate. Disparity clouds their judgement and their purpose. The dark side of the force was already blinding the council, and now at this moment it was growing exponentially. That is how the Jedi fell that night. only the jedi that could maintain their their calm, or as many people describe it "Cold" demeanor survived the Order 66. Take for example, Master Yoda, Master Kenobi, Ashoka, Quin-lan Voss, and so on.

Without going into too much detail on the latest episodes of Bad Batch, it feels all connected and leading to the sequel material. Its unfortunate that just the thought of the sequels is enough to make us nervous. My only hope is it leads to some kind of redeeming conclusion or retconn.

People didn't like the plot of the Prequel trilogy until the Clone Wars filled out the necessary details of the actual character arcs. The shows, stories, and games that take place in this sequel films era will do the same thing. They'll flesh out the missing holes and make the story as a whole feel more cohesive and palatable.
