I loved this episode. I’ve seen some people complain that nothing really happened but we got Grogu flashbacks, Order 66, Jar Jar redemption, Mandalorian lore, awesome action pieces and Bo coming around. Carl Weathers did an incredible job!

This is easily my favorite mando episode with both the flashback and the saving the foundling storylines, also the cinematography in this episode is amazing, the character development with bo, AND AHMED AS A JEDI?? So epic

That was the character that Ahmed Best has been playing on Jedi Temple Challenge, a show on the Star Wars Kids KZbin channel where he's teaching younglings. It used to be on Disney+, but they moved it to KZbin so that more kids would be able to watch it without having to pay for Disney+. Kelleran Beq: The Sabered Hand. Here's to hoping they bring his droids into a future episode of the Mandalorian with him.

This was pure Mando porn, fantastic episode with Mr Weathers direction and Mr Filonis writing, and was nice to see Ahmed Bests' Jedi char and see he survived order 66, and in no small way.

Yes, the opening scene with all the Mandalorian training I screamed in delight! 😄 Loved it as well! Jar Jar Binks fan here, love him, don't know the hate. Plus, how much emotion Grogu showed was heartbreaking and then his armor and being trained! Loved it all!

It is such a challenge to feel the emotion of a faceless being in a mask. When in filming they must have come up with plenty of ways for them to convey emotion behind their masks. Its my favorite part of the acting in this show. Those quiet moments when they are alone and showing their true emotions is what makes the show so special.

Ahmed Best coming back as Kelleran was perfect! He loves Star Wars and lot of our fan base gave him stick and made his life hell, him coming back just brings me joy! And I hope we see more of him! I was 8 when I watched Phantom Menace and I've always loved Jar Jar btw

Yeah there are a lot of people getting confused about that scene. The only reason he is duel wielding is because he picked up the saber of the dead jedi who fell in the elevator. Which is why his sabers have two colors.

Jon Favrou doesn’t play Paz Vizla this season, I think it’s because he’ll take off his helmet and it won’t be Jon, so they changed the voice to match. I’m so happy Ahmed Best is a badass Jedi, so happy for him. I think Temura voiced the clones, we saw Coruscant and a LAAT, multiple chase scenes, epic episode

That flashback could have gone on for hours and hours lol. Some speculation on where they go.. I think Naboo seems almost too obvious.. Nubian ship and those “senate guards” look distinctly from Naboo as well.. would not be a great idea to go there. Also; I love that hoodie with the pleats on the sleeve. It’s so Sheev👌

The ship belonged to a Naboo senator. At that time it was Jar Jar Binks. So it is quite possible that Kelleran hid Grogu with Jar Jar on Naboo :)

The fact that it wasn't a well-known or special Jedi who saves Grogu makes it even better. Just because Grogu is a powerful and special child doesn't mean someone just as important or famous should save him. Like the saying goes that even the ordinary can do extraordinary things. Kelleran Beq is an ordinary Jedi who just saved an extraordinary being and thereby did an extraordinary thing. If Jon and Dave had chosen someone well-known, not that it wouldn't have been great, but I feel it would have been more of them trying to meet the fanfare and give fan service. At least with Kelleran, he's actually perfect since in Jedi Temple, he is actually teaching younglings. So he would have been there in Coruscant and would have been trying his best to protect his young charges. The fact that Ahmed Best is Kelleran is just pure icing on the cake. He's Jar Jar, who's from Naboo. It's a Naboo ship that they escape with, so is it possible Jar Jar could have sent it? He's like a senator at this time, so he has the means to do so. He could have been in coruscant at this time, so he knew what was happening. Kelleran could be taking Grogu to Naboo. What better place to hide him than in the planet where Palpatine is from? They would never expect it. Again, just the connections weaves quite a storyline.

I think they did that to the doc to control the cloning project. Not to mention. He has a lot of info on pass projects the empire was doing. She she did that to prevent that n we could very well see the first order slowly growing.

The problem was that everyone was waiting for a continuation of the previous episode and when one saw that it was almost an shout episode, I was excited we were going to have that hour getting to know more about the mandalorians and their culture through Bo Katan reintroduction but it wasn't so I was really disappointed at that. The episode wasn't bad but one had many expectations of what was next.

they were giving massive amounts of exposition without narration, that was the whole purpose of the pershing arc. we learn the new republic is incompetent to the point of destroying usefull tech because they don't have the man power to utilize it. they showed that moff gideon has agents still in play actively executing(maybe literally) his will. they showed that more then likely gideon must know that pershing gave up how to find him.

I actually liked that they had a random Jedi saving Grogu more than if they would've followed through on any of the fan theories. The thing that makes The Mandalorian so great is that it makes the Star Wars universe feel more lived in.

I think Jar Jar is the likely person to have sent the Naboo ship. Naboo Royal guards limits the people with likely access to two, and we know Padme takes hers, which means it has to still be available. Jar Jar, for all the hate spilled onto him, was in Padme's confidence, and therefore likely Bail Organa and Mon Mothma's as well - and was a friend to both Kenobi and Anakin, he's probably as in the know as it gets without being on the Jedi Council. As for whether the armorer believes Bo... I think the armorer is able to verify the water because the presence of the mythosaur changes it somehow, and so she knows its hidden there. She also is a true believer and the prophecy is that the mythosaur will rise up to herald a new age of Mandalore. She has already accepted several things everyone knew to be true aren't. Mandalore isn't posionous. The waters are still there. I don't think it's a stretch for someone who keeps the lore and creed of the mandalorians to believe the mythosaur is still there.

She effortlessly won a battle using the Dark Saber, but returned it to Din without comment. Even though they are rivals for the Dark Saber, his life came before her safety. While Din was bathing in the Waters, Bo saw the Beast of Legend, and it saw Her. She herself was Redeemed in the Living Waters and chose to follow the Way. She leads a Hunt to rescue the child of another Rival, and rescues 3 Foundlings; beasts to ride into combat! When Armorer says "This is the way" she is addressing the new Mandalore. Din's tough and smart; he's gonna make a play so the Princess can claim the Saber with Honor.

One thing that really bugs me is that the Jedi are taken out so easily... there are like 2 to 4 clones per Jedi, those odds are definitely in favor of the Jedi. Just use more clones! Swarm them and overwhelm them, it would really bring a lot of tension and drama to the show.
