Mandolin | GauchoREC

This class will introduce people to the mandolin, how to tune their instrument, how to construct chords, how to play simple melodies in jazz, bluegrass and pop styles and introduce the topics of formal music reading and music theory. Taught by Patrick Hackney. Pat Hackney has been teaching and playing music professionally for over 20 years. In addition to playing mandolin he also plays the guitar, fiddle and sings. He holds a music degree in classical voice and currently plays in an acoustic/jazz quartet called 'Full Court'.
