Yes, this is a Re-upload of an older video, mainly because when I first uploaded this video, I was hacked and my channel was massively affected, and with the announcement of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, I feel like this should be fine to upload. I'm hopeful for the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, I just hope they don't screw this up.

Dead Rising with devs that understand why people love Dead Rising but not afraid to update aspects explains why capcom’s devs currently are making peak. What I love about Dead Rising is definitely the japanese feel to the games for such a very western or english genre at this point. Sure there is Dying Light and Days Gone that show off open world concepts with zombies hordes, but Dead Rising explicitly explores the human characters and lifestyles of those characters. The series is grounded in a fun way through its mechanics of trying to make Frank West and many survivors as possible survive.

Yeah, I saw the Teaser and Trailer. I also hope Capcom doesn’t screw this up. I guess the Remake is gonna fix Carlito’s Orphans list and they’ll Put Nick Ramos and Diego Martinez’ names on the list. I notice Frank West in the Ramake sounds like Frank East from Dead Rising 4. I looked it up, the original voice actor, Terence Rotolo won’t be returning in the Remake. He said Capcom didn’t contact him. What the Hell? That is like Capcom not contacting the guy who voice and motion capture Dante for Devil make Cry. What did Terence do? And I’ll be honest, aside Dead Rising Remake i am disappointed of Capcom Next. Is anyone interested in Kunitsu Gami? I am still patiently waiting for Pragmata.

The remake looks clean, though it looks like they've gone the Dead Rising 3 route of going a little too hard on the hyper-realism. Brad looks good, and both Adam and Jo being more detailed makes them uglier, which works. Jessie and Isabela are still pretty, so they didn't go PC, though Larry looking like Al's Toy Barn is weird. Steven was ironically given more hair. Everyone looks 5 or so years older. Not as pretty, but it's more the artstyle than anything intentional. Adding stairs to the Security Room is a godsend, and a fast forward button... man, the speedrunners will eat that up, and being able to just play the case files one after the next is neat. Though I do have to wonder about the original's 8-survivor limit and how that's handled.

Rotolo not returning is already a bad sign for me, but I really worry that they'll (Most likely) change the ost, mainly the boss themes. "Heaven's creepin' in" and "Justified" are classics that I'll always treasure

When the remaster comes out, I might give Dead Rising a chance. Your original Dead Rising video gave me passing interest in the franchise; so a remaster of the first game coming out in a couple months would be a prime opportunity to experience it for the first time.

It's like companies are just remaking everything from the past that was already great to begin with. Iy seems as though oiginality and new ideas are truly dead. Though I'm not entirely mad about it. I never got around to playing games like Dead Rising, Metal Gear Soild 3, RE 2, and FFVII back in the day. I just hope that these devs treat this games with respect, care, and actual love from fans of the games themselves.

I remember back in the day Dead Rising 1 was the reason I went from the PS2 to the 360 (and the fact the PS3 cost 600). The first game is still my favorite game in the series.

This was awesome! I hope you talk about Case Zero and Case West! I finally played those dlc's last year and love them so much! I've been a fan of the series since the demo on the 360, I would play it all the time at my friend's house as I never had an Xbox system. Finally got one to play the dlc's last year. I still can't believe they never ported or re released Case Zero and West! It's frustrating! I love the lore and characters so much and Case West is the only time you get to see Chuck and Frank work side by side in the main series!

I personally liked 3, dead rising 1 to 3 were all fun games, but 4? Absolutely ruined the series, I am still in shock how they could butcher franks character so bad in 4, like he had his personality and everything already, all they had to do was watch dead rising 1 or off the record, but noo they completely did what they want and butchered his character. The gameplay for 4 was fun, but the story was so nonsensical and with a completely different feeling frank I was not immersed at all and had a sour feeling throughout my entire playthrough of that game, I honestly didn't even finish it because I couldn't take it anymore and just booted up an old save of dr1 to wash that sour taste out of my mouth.

dead rising 2 was my first game and i loved it(despite the fact i normally HATE being timed on things) but i saw it immediately went downward when DR3 made everything abit easier to do stuff like fusing weapons, then 4 happened

The Remaster camera is obviously way too close to Frank, and way too low. Once again, they're making this absurd mistake, and I won't buy it if it stays like this. Dead Rising is all about navigating zombies and finding routes, zooming in the camera is an IDIOTIC and game breaking choice. Haven't they learned yet? They've been doing this since DR2. Man, I think people are in for a rude awakening with this one.

Romero definitely had grounds for a lawsuit. Sorry love the game and Dawn of the dead and being so I’ve seen deleted material with zombies from DR1 looking exactly like certain ones from Dawn of the dead. The reason plaid is mentioned is because there is a model that is plaid and literally the same damage on his face from Dawn of the dead. Same exact injury. Japanese don’t believe in plagiarism for a reason. They just call it “echoing someone else’s actions” look it up. They steal a lot of material just saying.
