And where do you live now?🤔 No, don't worry, I won't stalk you, I don't think I'd live near you.😂🤣 I heard this band for the first time on the radio 1 year ago and I think this band is great although my music style is completely different. I greet you from Switzerland and I find the Russian language just great although I can not but very much like to hear and learn. 🙋♂️

I cried when I read the description of the lyric in The Guardian's top 30 Manic Street Preachers songs today. I have been a fan since 1992 but I was unaware of this lyric's meaning in my ignorance. It is heart breaking. My wife lost her last surviving relative to Alzheimer's in June 2020 and is still badly affected by it. I lost my dad less than three weeks later in an accident and remain in shock and denial to this day.

I have 50 years of music pulsating through my mind . Mum saw the Beatles play twice , there’s not been a band like them since . Then you have the manics , boys grew up together , definition of a tight knit band . I can’t pay a finer accolade , my mum and dad both died young, these will take me with them.

The drink, the songs named after it, I cant remember the specifics but one of the bands family members was dying, cancer if i remember right, and the drs said the juice might help them, prolong thier life, due to the nutrients in it. Hense why "please stay awake, then we can drink some ocean spray" he wants the person to keep going and not pass away

Lyrics "Me totemo utsukushii desu ne Totemo utsukushii me wa shitemasu" It's easy to see, it's easy to see To see only white where colour should be It's easy to feel, it's easy to feel But it's not good enough, even though it's real Oh please stay awake And then we can drink some Ocean Spray Oh please stay awake And then we can drink some Ocean Spray It's easy to breathe, it's easy to grieve To breathe only air where life should be It's easy to laugh, it's easy to cry To cry so so hard that it can't be denied Oh please stay awake And then we can drink some Ocean Spray Oh please stay awake And then we can drink some Ocean Spray Oh please stay awake And then we can drink some Ocean Spray Oh please stay awake And then we can drink some Ocean Spray

Just opened a bottle of Ocean Spray, I don't really go in for consumer drinks, preferring to pour tap water, black coffee or alcohol into my digestive system but it was 25p and I was thirsty, now opening it reminded of this song and it always make tears in my eyes, drinking water, loosing water, such a sad song it's really painful and beautiful at the same time, painful because losing someone hurts like hell but beautiful because it's an expression of human emotion and feelings reminding us we are human beings with empathy, we are not labour machines. I love the Manics
