Great video. Manual did well to keep up with the EDC. I wonder if a short shifter would make a worthwhile difference.

Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it. I think a zero.one shifter or CAE would definitely level up the playing field a bit, but the fact I don't have to come off the accelerator means I'm just constantly in it, and doing a quarter mile nearly half a second quicker and i reckon most of that time made is the rapid shifts
@kasimirdenhertog35167 ай бұрын
Apart from tenths of seconds, which looks like pretty marginal to worry about, do you guys prefer the feel of the manual or the EDC?
@VersionOneUK7 ай бұрын
You'd be surprised the difference it makes mate, especially from a dig. You simply can't match the EDC shifts in the manual. The EDC manages power better and is very very smooth out of sport modes. I do think the manual is good though, very notchy and direct

Not really impressed with the numbers tbh . I know the rs monitor isn’t correct but my stage 2 clio rs trophy does 5.09 0-100 and 14.1 for the 1/4 ( also on the rs monitor) makes me wonder if it’s worth the extra money for the megane
@VersionOneUK Жыл бұрын
Like i mentioned dude, we could've got .2/.3 faster on the right day, and the road isn't very smooth so i would take the numbers with a pinch of salt. I came from a clio trophy, one of 2 out there that made over 260bhp (265 to be precise) with just bolt ons so she was a strong one, and i guarantee you the megane is better in every single way... Literally, every single way. Will out pace, out handle the clio, while looking better and the interior is miles better and trust me i absolutely LOVED my clio trophy but the megane is leagues ahead. Have you done 100-200's with the clio? Would be interested to know what you can get, but the megs over 3 seconds faster than my clio was 100-200, which is the most important area, once moving
