I have had two Indonesian wives over a span of 35 years. Two beautiful daughters from the first one and three fine sons from the second. I'm now 61 and have a successful import company from Indo to Aust. I speak Indonesian fluently and perfectly. Even so, I can assure you that the average Indonesian woman is not particularly well educated, not knowledgable about the world and not really interested. Their needs are always immediate. It's part of the Indonesian psyche. ...Asal ada nasi hari ini...As long as there's rice today (let tomorrow take care of itself). Your Sumatran girl sounds like a unicorn. Very rare.

Ok I have to know. Sorry, I know it's possibly a personal question but forgive that if you can. How could you end up in divorce, let alone two times, with such a simple "rice today" mentality of the wife? I'm asking as a twice divorced western man who doesn't want (can't tolerate) another one, so looking at SEAsia for a solution.

If you are above 40 years old, seeking a woman in her 20's and want her to choose u solely for your personality, you are delusional, she is trading u her youth for ur money, even if she is not being a gold digger, thats her share of the deal, why would she leave a younger man for u? If it aint for financial stability.

There’s absolutely no reason for a woman to not want that from a man. That is what we are in terms of relationship as we are the providers. Grow up and stop believing in some kind of magical, romantic intentions. No attractive woman wants to be with a man who is poor and cannot provide. I don’t care how wonderful your “personality” is! 😂😂

@Trent-moon no no, Im not talking about the beat down 28's podcasts bring who look older than what they are due to a draining profession, if u go outside, a 28 is way younger than a 40 year man ON average, a brad pitt looking 40 yr old obviously won't find issues for s*ex, but still, to be taken seriously, he will still be expected to be financially stable, also alot of 40 yr olds don't look like brad pitts.

@@justv7370 Regardless of any age you're expected to be financially stable these days,as if it happens over night. In Brazil tens yrs ago my uncle's got more attention than me because they were "marriage"; ready . Hated it but some cultures find older men attractive . So I don't think they're delusional. Especially if they're in shape.

You just have to go with what you are attracted to, and keep your eyes open. If a woman is interested in you for materialistic reasons, it will become apparent very quickly if you are paying attention. And then you can make the choice whether or not you are up for that.

Choose a quite place to shoot a video. 😂😂😂 There are either music or busy road or windy or something else on your videos😂 . So it's not always easy to watch till the end. After I met an Indonesian woman in May, we travelled together for a week through Java - and we will do so in November again :-) Looking really forward to it.

@@MinimalistNomad Selamat pagi Marcel :-) she picked me up in Pemalang. Then we took a "shaky" train to Semarang, and two days later we went to Yogya for a week. In November we will be in Malang. I let her organize our trip to Bromo, because as a "local" she knows where to ask and might get better prices. Maybe we go to Surabaya, too - but (unusual for me) we didn´t planned out every day ;-)

When it comes to "single moms": I had different experiences like you @minimalistNomand - I am in my 50s and all three of them are in their fourties. All of them have kids - and two of them have a younger kid living together with her. But all three are financially stable: two have their own businesses and one has a good job. We never talked about money. I made clear that I am not rich and that I do adapt my financial behaviour to the Indonesian level. With all three of them I am still in contact. So maybe your "warning" when it comes to "single moms" might be more eligable to moms in their 20s or 30s?

There is a tribe called sunda. Sundanese women are the most beautiful as well the biggest gold diggers. Philipinas are better have a better heart (most of them)

Thanks for your good tips. I have done some research along with what I have heard you say. I am planning to come to Indonesia in September and thought Medan would be a good place to visit for about 25 days. I am a Christian along with the lack of foreign men here would improve my chances of finding a good young lady for marriage. What do you think?

Consideration also needs to be given to her family. If you have a good moral compass it’s hard to not help her family if they are struggling to survive.

Yes, I lived and worked in Zanzibar/Tanzania. Tanzania is similar to Indonesia in the sense that it has a Muslim and Christian population.

i decide to stay in asia because asia is far better than africa as a whole, asia has better food than africa, etc but prepare to be MGTOW & stay single in asia if you're not rich, i'm actually a poor american, so i know poverty for lifestyle, cheap hotels, good food, go to asia, for women, women, and more women, go to africa

If you’re going to focus so much on avoiding golddiggers, it makes you sound like a loser, as most attractive women are looking for a guy who can be a good provider. Plus good looking women are more fun to have sex with and they elevate your social status by being with them. Just learn how to play the game so you don’t have to restrict your dating options.

There’s nothing wrong with gold diggers, most women are going to be somewhat interested in you for economic reasons, and there’s nothing hard about spotting them in Southeast Asia or anywhere else. If you are paying attention to your feelings and to the actions of the other person, who they are and what they want is obvious to you right away. I suppose that you can get taken advantage of if you are a dreamy eyed guy who never had any success with women back home, in which case you can only learn by doing.

Hindari wanita Indonesia mana pun yang fasih berbahasa Inggris. Dia tidak belajar bahasa itu di sekolah, tapi dari berkencan dengan orang asing lainnya. Anda akan terhindar dari banyak masalah jika Anda hanya belajar bahasa Indonesia.

Your class kinda of women hahahaha Even tho never studied or worked overseas, LOTS of top class indonesian women know english well because their job REQUIRED them to speak english to overseas client or coworkers .
