I usually dislike KITE games, but that DElf/Lizzy game was really really amazing. It got a BIT stale, in the last few minutes, only because there was nothing going-on except waiting for the Razordon's to shoot all their spikes. EDIT: So, I yelled KHORNE! when prompted by Turin. My landlord, who lives above me, yelled, "POTATOES!"

Small suggestion for Turin if possible; it would be cool, and deter the questions/requests for Bo3 if at the header it would be Player vs. Player rather than the usual player banners with the win count. It would also make the tournament more identifiable as a special deal due to the different banner. I love the content, keep it up!

First I cheered for Aerocrastic (he nearly did it), then I cheered for Xiphos when I watched the recording of the Tournament today and was pretty sad that he did not bring a proper Counter to the Norscan Blitz and lost that late in the Tournament ... ( Nevertheless he had two great Matches before that, making the High Elves proud :) And Hadres definitely was a worthy Champion this Time ! I think this really was the best TWW2 Tournament I ever saw. Great Fun and nice Tactics overall. Also like that Players are bound to their chosen Races, not able to switch them during the Tournament.

Noticed hadres had silver promoted units - is there a consensus on which units are "worth" promoting and by how much? I was thinking low leadership skaven might have decent relative value?

Questions: (seeking opinions or facts, either way) What infantry-sized (and unmounted) Hero/Lord is the best for killing infantry (abilities are fine, but no spells)? Tyrion? Can you kill your own troops with spells like "Foot of Gork"? And, sometimes I think each player should have like a "time-bank," where they can put it on Half-speed for like 20 seconds per-match. Is this a dumb idea?

I'd say Archaon for your first question if no spells are being used. He can deal out massive splash damage with his slayer of kings ability even on foot...either him or Vlad who is nigh on unkillable on foot usually. I could also be totally wrong here though :p

With no magic i think grimgor, vlad, belegar, gor-rok and maybe queek and sigvald. They are A) very durable with hight stats and / or healing, B) have useful habilities to support their armies so they dont get useless when tarpitted with chaff and C) have enought splash and dmg to actually kill what they are fighting with. For the second question, yes, most aoe spells (except direct dmg) afect your troops as well as the enemie's

Morghur is the most competitive foot lord when it comes to magic-less lords. The fact that he's unkillable, never routs, and summons 2k gold worth of spawns without using WoM is bonkers, and there's a good reason you ALWAYS see him in BM games. And yes, Foot of Gork can obliterate your own troops (or your allies', if you're trolling in 2v2).

Has anyone seen a high elf game where sisters actually make their value back? Its just far too easy to counter them and as you saw when the fimir get netted after what 4 or 5 vollies get to almost half hp? Having watched wood elf games the waywatchers just seem so much better at being able to dish out damage and make their cost back. Should have probably gone for a beefy knight and reaver cav army vs norsca but gg to xiphos you had me rooting for ya!

yes, i play sisters of avelorn A LOT, and they do get their value back, but there are things that are super scary for them... artillery, and in case of norsca, pendulum and seafang, and both those things are super hard to dodge unless you rect instantly, and even if you do, if your archers are shooting, they won't move away in time and will get rekt. In this match i netted wulfric and started shooting, he instantly used seafang on sisters and i couldn't rect, then it was ripperonies.

@@xiphos Thats just what I mean they're super scary and I've seen you and others do a lot better than I ever can with them xD. But the opponent is always going to have that magic, or opposing artillery, or heck mr grim on his pimp charriot ive seen walk through em with impunity. I just havent seen a game in a while where they seemed to really impact things besides draw fire from other choice targets. But hey you would know far more than me man had me rooting for ya as a high elf fanboy xDD
