Thank you Marie, for sharing your process for new projects. As a multitalented creative, also with a gazillion ideas in my head at any given time, you’ve helped simplify some things for me which I am going to implement today, and give it a whirl. Hopefully it will help. Decide&Commit-seems so simple! Yet how many of us (me!) don’t do that part of focus, but most helpful in watching this, is your morning routine. We’ve always been told to workout first. This makes much more sense to start out writing first when energies are clear from outside forces … etc. Thank you!

Lucky you having a team...it helped you release that time for yourself. Let's be honest, that was huge. Nothing wrong with that. Just keeping things real like you do. Having said that, this sounds like a great programme. Love what you do Marie. You are truly an inspiration to a lot of us. Keep up the great work.

I agree it's huge and I'm trying to get more support now as I realise it's physically and mentally not possible to do what I need to by myself, I have many barriers to even getting the support people for biz and personal day to day going it's taking months not to mention the process ahead to try get some of it covered with our disability insurance program, so my hard deadlines you'd think are generous just make me feel worse 🫠 hopefully one day soon it'll be more realistic to reach goals.

I learned so much about managing my time and energy from you Marie, and I'm so grateful you'll be able to pass on your time genius strategies to more people. Now that I have 2 kids and run a small farm, this advice is even more relevant than ever. But it's also more clear that it's not always possible to clear the deck for certain projects when you have other commitments. So for me, I've had to get really clear on what matters and what I am committed to right now, and what projects can take a back seat. (Like writing a book!) -Nathalie Lussier, founder of AccessAlly

It's never a bad reminder that progress won't happen if you don't know what it looks like (clarity) and a deadline (time-bound SMART goal). I also love calendar blocking -- it definitely helps me to batch things [like you've done by shifting your morning routine]. Clarity + Prioritising (batching included) + Deadline = Success :)

Hi Marie, This sounds great but, honestly, how effective is it for moms? I feel like I was totally on top of the ball pre-babies. I was on top of my time and doing great. 3 kids later (1 special needs) and I'm sinking. My attention is diverted. Exhausted by the end of the day. It's very hard. I've audiobooked all the cooks: Atomic Habits, Eat the Frog, etc but life is just different in motherhood. Do you think Time Genius would apply to someone like me? Other moms relate?

9.99999% of people giving productivity advices are people who ... create content and their advices are around their own experience, so as a result their ideas, although might work for content creation, are are not necessary the most useful to other types of work. For example, in many types of work one of the most important technique to increase productivity is... automation and the lady does not mention it at all. In data analysis, software development, online sales and many many other areas, automation is a key thing to success. Computers do many taks 1000 faster and much cheaper than people. Automation can replace hundreds of hours of our time or the time of people we would delegate the work to.
