I think I remember seeing a video of Marine having a guest appearance on a radio(?) show, and I think this was before her time as the Marine character (could be wrong tho, i know hololive does promo stuff in japan, just weird she would be there in person if so). She herself was censored but the camera angles suggest she was talking to the hosts from another booth to sing. That said, if not just for the artistic talent, she was definitely hired for her voice talent too.
