Watching from Mumbai. Quick tip: always wait for the ghee/oil to heat up before adding the cumin... it should crackle immediately... that releases the flavour and fragrance better. Same when you're adding it for the meat dish... add the jeera (cumin) with some oil and let it crackle. Also, the jeera rice (cumin rice) looks way too watery/moist. Dry it up some more (best way is to use a pressure cooker or rice maker) Love your channel and recipes and looking forward to more Indian-inspired videos!

Bermuda here! There is no descent Chinese food on this island. During lock down, I googled how to make stir fry beef, tender and that's how I discovered you. I love your videos and recipes. My stir fry beef is the best in Bermuda, thanks to you! Your demonstration of how to slice the beef and the explanation for using baking soda in the marinade, were game changers in the quality of my stir fry.

In Myanmar, we also have aloo keema in some indian restaurants and street vendors. The only difference is that the mixture has less potatoes (some has zero potatoes in there) substituted with caramelized onions and the mixture is packed inside a thicker Prata dough so that it can hold everything inside and won't burst out while frying in the pan. Definitely need to try this one though.

No potatoes? Funny, because I thought "aloo" actually means "potato"...

Watching from Pakistan.. Love your fast cooking recipes.. I brown the onions first to give the mince extra flavor and color. Also Marion powdered Garam masala should be added at the end of cooking... it blackens and camouflages the natural texture of the food. And the wholesome garam masala at the beginning... That's how I do it...

Keema is my favorite go to recipe, passed down from my Indian mom, when I have 1 lb of hamburger to do something to grill...oh, yes, Oklahoma Burgers, very thin burgers with carmelized onions on the grill, topped with American cheese, no substitutions for it. Tastes better than you think it will be. -- Ft. Worth, TX here.
