Thanks Mark, came looking for help in order to fit a replacement Hive thermostat and receiver (opted for the cheaper Mini) as my 3 year old V2 thermostat and receiver just suddenly stopped talking to each other (still able to turn on heating manually by the button on the receiver), despite numerous factory resets. Have ordered up from Screwfix (£69) for collection tomorrow and aim to install on Saturday. Will come back and comment how it went, but your video certainly helped and put to rest any worries I had. Wish me luck 🙂

Well, this was even more straightforward than I thought, didn't have to do any wiring, the hive mini wired backplate is the same as the older V2, so just removed the old receiver and fitted the new. Paired to the thermostat within seconds. Brilliant. What was more time consuming was getting these paired to the hub, tried every combination and it eventually got there. Back up and running.

Hi mark. Great vids. I watched your video on changing a circulatory pump. Changed the grundfos ups 2 to a ups3. Should I use proportional pressure setting? 3 bed house with six radiators and a viessmanns vitodens w100 .

Hi mark i am old person not good with Tech hive for heating is it rf frequency on the mini & on a hub version is it wifi we have drayton controls but not reliable. thanks for your time

Thank you sooooo much. I recently purchased a Hive Mini thermostat smart. And all of sudden my receiver would have a red light and the remote thermostat won’t stop talking to each other. In my app, it showed I am offline. I was really pissed off. Saw this video and reset my receiver + thermostat and everything is up running.

I only have 4 wires going into my receiver, brown, light brown, blue and black then there is wires that are tracked down into my kitchen on a wall switch that turns off the power to the system.
