They have been very happily married for 7 years now and the two of them are the most lovey-dovey always touching each other couple that I know LOLOLOL. These two people actually "FIXED" each other. The friend makes me so mad. I had a good friend who'd once been like "my bf said you're cute don't cheat with him" to which I was kind of offended at the time but I took it as a passing joke/insecurity. Later when I realized she was the kind of person who could only put others down I backed away and lo and behold she tried to add my partner on EVERY social media fb/snapchat/insta and it clicked that she'd been projecting the whole time. I wouldn't have cheated, but SHE would have so she was projecting her motives and morals on to me. Reminded me of this story.

I’m glad about that update with the friend, the conversation and the follow up with husband. It sounds like friend is doing exactly what someone should in taking responsibility for her actions while under the influence of her mental illness. A lot of people will use it to hand wave everything they did as “not counting” and never apologize for it. They’ll never acknowledge that while they didn’t mean it, other people in their lives were very much hurt, scared, and confused by what they did. She did what one should after coming out of it. She met with OP, explained what things were like from her pov, apologized and asked if there was a possibility of still being friends. And she wasn’t just saying the right things or what she “should.”. It sounds like she meant it and respected OP saying “no, we really can’t” and explaining what happened from her pov as someone wronged and someone whose loved one was directly targeted. OP forgave her, recognizing and legitimizing that friend was doing the right thing to apologize and take responsibility for the consequences of her actions but that she also has to accept what those consequences are. As someone who had a toxic friendship where someone was basically overdosing her meds and said some of the nastiest shit about me right where it hurt and then came to me later saying “oh I was essentially overdosing my meds and it fucked me up” and never acknowledged what she said or did or apologized, just expecting me to ignore it and stop being hurt she had the things she said to me in her to begin with, just husband saying “she hasn’t bothered us since” is really encouraging that friend meant it all and is respecting the wishes of the people she hurt even if she wasn’t in her right mind. It’s just refreshing to see that.

This story took turn after turn of different situations. When I was hearing this, I thought that OPs friend was unhappy with what happened in her relationship and decided to cause trouble with OPs relationship. Friend requests on Facebook, money sent on an app and sending sexually enticing pictures. She was doing everything she could to prove that OPs husband was a cheater like her ex-boyfriend. Then there's the update with the mental health issue with OPs friend. That changed the whole view of what was happening. Then the apology from the friend and OP telling her, indirectly, that she ruined their friendship. Then the story ends with OP and her husband being hit in their car by someone else. That person decided to attack OP and her husband had to fight him off of her. The guy should be charged for the assault on OP plus going through a red light and be at fault for hitting them with his vehicle. The insurance company for both parties will cover any repairs on OPs car or get them a new one. I hope that this case gets updated for us to know the results from that crash. Yes, OP lost a friend and almost got beaten up to death but I hope that her and her husband will heal and become better and stronger people in the future. I am wishing them luck with their life because what happened in these posts was all done in a short time. Hopefully there won't be another post so soon where there's something else that was bad that happens to them. There's a saying that bad things or unlucky things happen in 3s and this is just 2 things so far.

I had a very similar friendship where someone crossed a line hardcore during a mental health crisis, and I knew that even though I wished them well going forward that I couldn't keep them in my life because despite the fact we cared about each other, he was always going to have moments where he was dangerous during a mental health crisis. I broke it off because I can't set myself on fire to keep him warm, but I do feel sad for him. He told me everyone abandons him, and had always begged me not to. I had told him that I wouldn't leave unless I felt I was truly in danger. I suffered through hundreds of smaller hurts, because of that. But eventually he crossed a line that put me in a horrible mental place where I felt like I might do myself harm. And that was the moment I had to leave. I wish him the best but I can't be his support anymore.

She just went through a giant emotional upheaval which easily could've pulled her into a self-destructive spiral. Losing touch with reality (which she claims happened to her) is also a symptom. This reminds me of when my friend and roommate had a bad manic episode. A normally sweet and relaxed young man, freaked out and started chasing me through the house. Fortunately i ran into the bathroom and locked the door as he pounded on it, and i called the police. He was put in a psych hold and my boyfriend and i moved out immediately. We never really spoke much after that. But i hope he's doing better

I’m soo scared of becoming like OP’s friend. Especially hard when you know it’s all projection but the nagging voice in your head is ‘what if this was a subtle sign or a trick to lower my guard.’ Some probably won’t get over those thoughts. It’s all about managing and accepting that you can’t truly control a person’s action only how you respond to them.

Story 1: friend is absolutely fishing for OP’s husband. She’s trying to start shit in OP’s marriage to make herself feel better and validate her own opinions and problems. This is harassment.

i've been on Kay's side of things (going crazy and ruining relationships irreparably) and i can tell you it's painful but you can heal from it. it sucks for all parties involved but sometimes relationships just run their course. i hope everyone heals from this but it has to be apart and that's that. i hope Kay doesn't let the guilt eat her and forgives herself because that's what she needs most. Same goes with OP and her husband.

Op is lucky to have such a kind, amazing husband, and idk how to say this in any other way honestly, he is the knight in shining armor every young girl dreams of 100% it's awful of your friend to do all this, hopefully this doesn't stop him from being that knight in the future, they both may need to seek therapy

my bf had a female friend who was someone i worked with before, he shoots music videos and needed a girl for a video, me being kind of shy i suggested he ask her bc she had done modeling and would probably be more comfortable with it. when he reached out she told a person we knew mutually that he was trying to cheat on me with her. the mutual didn’t believe it based on what she said but wanted to tell me what she was saying. i read the convo she sent and it was unreal; she was just going off about how she knew he was with me to make her jealous and that him asking her to be in a video was proof. it was literally my idea for him to ask her!! i texted her and told her she was very mistaken about the circumstances and that it was me who suggested her and she accused me of covering up for him and that i was just lying to avoid embarrassment. needless to say neither of us talk to her anymore and she still tells people my bf was trying to cheat on me lol.

Considering how unstable and how much the friend projects I wonder if she cheated and projected that onto her expartner at this point? 🤔

All of that drama over a goddamn compliment. This is why I mind my business and don't talk to people.😊

1. Oh my, he was "looking" at her dress. What the heck? I'm laughing at this woman's idiocy. Friend is acting extremely strange is you ask me. I'm glad friend's aunt got involved and is looking to help friend. She sounds as if she really needs it. I'm also glad that she got the help and is leaving OP and her husband alone. I really love these long stories.

I’ve heard this story before and I reread now knowing the whole story although I feel like there’s one piece of the puzzle that we’re missing here,of course we will probably never know now since OP washed her hands of this friendship, but I’m just curious because especially with the way the friend acted. was this only relationship that the friend was in because six years is a long time for a relationship or is it possible that this friend had previous relationships because given her erratic behavior and how she basically spiraled off the deep end not just because of her insecurities false accusations, behavior, etc. is it possible she could’ve been in a toxic, if not abusive relationship prior to the recent relationship she just got over? Edit to add that we know that the friend has history of mental health can we really be for certain that the boyfriend actually cheated on the friend or did she start to give signs given her behavior that she was not meant to be there, and the boyfriend didn’t think he could handle that And that was the reason they and she just uses cheating as an excuse for coping mechanism to get sympathy question because now that we know that she has a history of mental health that does Bring in more questions than answers. I am not excusing the friends behavior her behavior and actions is simply uncalled for and it’s good that she’s getting the help she needs, but she really has to work on herself. If She wants to have any relationship or future with someone because if she were to spiral again they could, and worse them what just happened with her former friend. Edit two another thing I also notice especially in the later updates by OP. When she the ex friends other friends were concerned about her down spiraling they contacted the ex friend his aunt and not her parents so I’m assuming that the parents are not in the picture. Here are a couple theories one. Both parents are dead two one. Parent is alive. The others dead three both parents are alive and they disowned the ex friend. Four The parents of the divorce because one spouse cheated on the other. And OP either lived with the mom or the dad. My theory is that the ex friend lived in an environment, where either she was neglected or abused by either or one of the parents, the parents divorced due to one of them, having an affair and the friend being a full witnessed to everything, the divorce probably took a toll on the parent. She ended up in custody with to where that aunt ended up getting full custody of ex friend . I also think her mental health issues could be due to some past trauma in regards to cheating it could’ve been with a boyfriend or been due to one of her parents cheating and the toll of it just over, took both her and the parent who got cheated on.

As the "friend" is going through a mental health episode which involved wrongly accusing FB's husband of inappropriately staring at her during dinner, then sending him multiple Facebook Friend requests, then sending him money then sending him utterly inappropriate images of herself, I'm going to ask this question: When did her mental health episode begin? Before or after she split up with her boyfriend? If the latter, did he really cheat on her? Did she cheat on him?

i'm thinking (guessing) the cheating hurt her so bad she had distrust against men in general, the fact the husband made a compliment didn't register with her as it should. instead she focused on the husband being a would be cheater , trying to convince OP that he is. since OP dismissed it she tried to "trap" him with the FB request, the money and the photos cause if he did respond or accept it it would mean that she was right about him. she kinda went of the deep end and with what we know from the aunt (the episodes) she became more unstable. it's good OP ended the friendship. this woman definetly needs help.

Update: Oh hell nah! She's went way over the line! Go to husband and tell him to calm down, everyone knows it's not him.. That heifer is going overboard and I'm over here about to knuckle up! 🤣

Friend is in no way ready to date again. I know a lot of people jump back into the dating pool after a serious breakup thinking they can just move on. That's not how most humans work - and I'd worry about the ones who do. People need to process and heal from a hurt like that. It's normal and can't be rushed. The one thing I'd be worried about with "this" friend is she seems to be intent on tearing her friend's relationship apart b/c misery loves company?!!
@albertgongora6944 Жыл бұрын
I'm just going to say this as a opinion about the first story before the update but I honestly feel that the person that the friend originally was with probably left her because of the way she acts and the personality she has because look at it this way you look how she is behaving over a simple compliment in trying to literally convinced the original poster that her husband is going to cheat on her just because he compliments other females what you think the same way of he was complimenting another man that he's possibly hiding that he's in the closet now too I'm just saying because it sounds like she drove the person she was with the break up with him and his possible that he never cheated on her or anything like that and I'm not saying it's impossible that you know it didn't happen but you never know
