just a reminder there was a lawyer cross exmaining a doctor in court : "how did you know he was dead, doctor?" ; "his brain was in a jar on my desk" ; "yes doctor, but are you SURE he was dead" ; "i suppose it's possible he was practising law somewhere" was the doctors final response

Wow, that camera story is wild. If there were any pictures of minors on there, the charges are going to be amped up considerably. If any of the images are shared online, there might be additional revenge porn type charges. I don't know if these charges will include federal ones as well as state since perpetrator lives out of state.

Great example of why you dont allow everyone and their mother unfeathered access to your home. OP was setting himself up for this kind of situation allowing "friends of friends" to stay in his home alone. Never let people you dont know, even acquaintances, to stay in your home when you're away.

I’m surprised not many people are talking about that, he claimed to let over 90 people use his place.

How does he figure doctors will be automated before lawyers? It is already legal for people to skip the lawyer and defend themselves. Perhpas not the smartest move but certainly legal and do-able with resources online (as long as you don't hit a sovit site), unlike perscribing your own medication or trying to set your own bones.

OP needs to turn the camera over to the police. Once it was discovered the bottle needed to be set down and the police called and have them come. Provide the list of guests to the police. OP needs to go through his home with a tool to look for any hidden cameras. OP needs to report it to any entity that has helped arrange this “swap” if used. Then OP needs to close the apartment for use.
@eileenheath19682 ай бұрын
Story 2 - dang. This is sounding VERY much like corporate espionage or OP got on an alphabet soup agency's watch list. Or one of his guests did. Back in 2010, a student found a GPS tracker hidden on his car. The FBI said it wasn't theirs - and they'd like it back.

Hidden camera, if any of op's friends or family had a minor stay there and got undressed in front of one of these cameras and there's video proof, the dirt bag that set them up is also looking at child porn charges as well.

The doctor-to-be dodged a massive bullet... and if her path ever crosses ex-BF's in a professional sense, find a way to refuse to treat him and make sure her colleagues know why. And for the OP whose "friend" installed all kinds of illegal surveillance equipment... He needs to contact each person who stayed in the apartment after the install happened, and he & every one of those other people should *individually* sue the offender, or at least file a MASSIVE class action suit against the perp. Make sure that the local jurisdiction's penalties don't matter because they obliterate him financially.

Even though the friend called him a perv and whatnot he’s lucky she found that camera! The two (shower and bedroom) sound like he was a perv but the kitchen cam and audio at his desk seems like he was trying to hear his business. I wonder what OP does for business. I believe the charges would be for wiretapping as well. That’s scary that you know someone for ten years and they do this!

Yeah, as an Architectural Engineer, i used to get this kind of crap from my brother all the time. I got really sick of it and finally said "you know how to friggin use the Internet, use it! I deal with smarter people than you asking smarter questions than you all day and I'm sick of THEM, what makes you think i wanna answer moronic questions from YOU in my time away from work!? If you really give a crap about this, Google exists. If you are just trying to annoy me, good job. If you ask again, I'll re-engineer your face" something along those lines. I pretty much blew up in his face. He hasn't done that crap since.

Didn't OP say that he also stayed at his various friends houses when he was in their territory. I wonder if his friend, the creepers house also has cameras in it. Also any of the other houses the creepers stayed in. There could be a whole lot of houses that have hidden cameras in them from this one person

2nd - the horror of this is, this probably isn’t the only home that freak set his crap up in. Once the police have their case together, I would warn everyone that let the AH in know what he did. Hell, if you know what hotels he stayed at I would send them an email, too.

I sincerely appreciate men who understand that their ego and insecurities, and choose to avoid women who are intellectually out of their league cos it tells of a self aware person who understands his boundaries. Listening to story one makes me appreciate (even more) men who cut their coats according to their sizes rather than get with someone and traumatize them.

Story one after update: after he made all that rant I would have just looked him dead in the eyes and told him "I should have broken up via text". No emotions. No nothing. Just the simplest way to state that this interaction was the biggest waste of time of the last few months and then leave.

Camera story, the person that set up the camera is also violation federal laws as well since the transmission was being sent across state lines.

Also depending on what he does for work he may want to let them know about the hidden devices at his desk. The added weight of an HR department with corporate lawyers could heat the suspects seat up nicely.

Story 2: i just looked at their account and that is the only post which was posted 7 years ago and there have been no further updates i did however find this from OP about how his relationship with his friend who found it is doing "We haven't talked much since the police left. She said she was sorry she accused me but at the same time she doesn't feel safe here which I completely understand...I don't either. I sent her back to the hotel and ended up going to a hotel myself for the night. I have professional contractors coming in 2 days to fix the wall and to paint / clean the apartment while I watch. They'll move all the furniture and clean as well so I can maybe get some piece of mind."
