Because of the length, I have to do pig tails, when I need it out of the way (one braid isn't possible, as I can't reach that far behind me...bun and ponytail are heavy and push against the seat, when driving or just sitting). Although the typical comment is about Pippy Longstockings, I have had a few grown men make suggestive comments. I get disgusted at them, as it just strikes me as gross.

While i can see that wanting your girl to look like a nun that doesn't wash her face is ridiculous, i also understand where the idea comes from, if she's making herself look desirable she's wanting attention, it's like a married woman walking on the beach while moving her ass to every man there to show off, it's not cheating at all but it's of poor taste, of course this situation isn't like that and the girl probably thought that it was a cute hair cut, but then again, it doesn't seem that way always, i kinda get the boyfriend's stance on this. Even so, he should've been grateful for the cosplay, that's a lot of work, he could've discussed this later, he doesn't seem ready for a relationship if he's going off for something like this.

THANK YOU!!! as a step child I would HATE to have her as a step mother. How does she expect a 13 year old kid, who just went through his parents rough separation, to "establish a relationship" with her. HES A KID. obviously he's not going to be able to establish a relationship to an adult because he just wouldn't know how???? She's supposed to put in effort for that too and its clear she never bothered trying.
@schokigirl19894 жыл бұрын
@Keys andFood Because she is the adult in this situation & adults are suppost to look after kids. I didn't say she didn't try. Maybe she did, but it wasn't enough. But she can't blame everything on him. And the son can make a decision at 13. That's ok. But you can't blame a child for not bothering to have a relationship to the woman that (in his eyes) broke up his parents & destroyed his family. Of course he doesn't want a relationship with her.
@schokigirl19894 жыл бұрын
@Keys andFood I´m not blaming her. You misinterpret me. If this is the relationship they both want, fine. That's their decision. But I interpreted her sentence, as her blaming the son for the lack of a relationship & that is just wrong in my opinion. If she wanted a relationship, she would have had to try & if she had & it failed, then she can't blame the child either, because he has very valid reasons (that are based on her prior actions) for not wanting a relationship.

For the second story I would go to the courts and file the will as a reason for why them trying to get into contact is harassment because for someone to put that in their will means something happened that was serious in a way and it wouldn't be hard for anyone with more than 2 brain cells to realize that

Like I have seen some BDSM kink involving tying pigtails in specific ways that means the person whose hair it is to pull their own hair when they move in a specific ways. But I can't imagine even the most devoted fan thinking that pigtails are exclusively used for this.

Especially since you are the misstress/stepmother that broke up his Family. Keep in your lane. Stay out of Kyle's stuff and downsizing your daughter for her new room and home won't hurt her. Otherwise you can always give up your master bedroom and take the smaller room to keep your princess happy.

For the situation in the title story, I totally agree with the advice on keeping the kids no contact as the will stated, & agree with the seeking advice of an attorney, preferably the one who handled the will. I'd also advise that she share the full story on Social Media to any people who claim she's being cruel, as if others had the whole picture that the JUST wanted to have contact with the son, & not the special needs daughter, especially that they told their own daughter that it would be better if THEIR OWN GRANDCHILD HAD BEEN A STILLBIRTH! When others see how heartless her parents were they will understand why it was in the will to not allow them to foster a toxic environment between the two siblings.

Im glad op in story 1 has seen they were wrong. Just talk to Carly tell her she can thin out some stuff she doesnt need. Maybe set aside space for important stuff like photos, sentimental stuff, things she might need later like for college etc. Everything else that goes maybe help her sell online and she keeps all the profits, and anything that can’t be sold have her donate to someone she knows in need or to charities of her choice

Of course the second OP isn't an AH for keeping Alexis' children away from her parents. Just tell the other parents that Alexis' will specifically stated she wanted her children kept away from their grandparents. The OP could also point out how the grandparents are verbally abusive about their deaf granddaughter and only want to see their grandson.

Stepson's room...we don't get to hear in this video, why does OP'S ex husband have custody of their daughter? Hmmm, let's think...OP admits to destroying her marriage by having a fling with her current spouse. In the process, the daughter most likely hated her. Now, daughter wants to move in with Mom (likely due to her becoming a pain in the rear teenager and daddy not giving her her way all of the time). So, she realizes the she can manipulate mommy, who wants to be the favorite parent and get her daughter to love her again, and get the nice bedroom and her butt kissed by everyone.

Story 2 - Your first priority as a parent is to your children, and these kids are your children now. It could be really harmful to them to reintroduce them to toxic people who have previously been harmful to them. If they came to you saying that they deeply regret the way they treated their grandchildren before, you'd still not be obligated to give them contact with your children, especially if they don't want to rekindle anything with their grandparents. And they haven't even had the decency to do that.

They can come up with a plan for the future and not let this ruin their lives entirely. Yes, they may have a big drop in income from now on, but they can rebuild at least to some extent. #1 - Umm... talk about dodging a bullet. Dump the bastard and move on. #2 - Even if it wasn't in the will, the OP knows the preceding events and knew that the decedent's wishes absolutely would've been no-contact. As pointed out, the grandparents only wanted to see one of the two, not both. The only remedy for the grandparents here is to sue for visitation rights, provided there State allows such. At the same time, wanting visitation for one but not both is... probably not going to go over well should they try taking it to Court. Kudos on the stepson for learning ASL, too. Hopefully he's helping the rest of the household learn it. #3 - "Pick your battles" and "love the sinner, hate the sin". And the OP is also presuming Sam hasn't accepted what his wife has done. I mean he lives with it every day. Is she taking him not petitioning for divorce as meaning he hasn't condemned what his wife did and what that has done to them and their livelihood? #4 - Favoritism doesn't automatically make someone the asshole in a situation. And it's easy for us to castigate someone else's favoritism when it manifests in a way we don't like while ignoring our own inherent favoritism merely because it almost always plays out in a way we do like. This whole thing boils down to one simple question: who owns the house? Sounds like it's the OP's husband, with the OP having no ownership stake, so she doesn't really have any say over who is in what room. That also means it's entirely at his pleasure that either Carly or Kyle live there. OP can suggest Carly take over the attic bedroom, but it absolutely is NOT within her right to try to force the change. The OP's husband still has the final say, regardless of whether Kyle "needs" the space, not the OP. At the same time, I wonder as well if there's a basement to the home that can be similarly converted like the attic.

My husband and I have an unspoken you can't tell me what to do rule. Obviously this excludes certain things, like If I started doing heroin or he started cheating. I always wear my hair in long braided pigtails. I never saw it as sexual and no one in my family or my boyfriend thinks they are sexy. They are just the easiest way to style my hair since it's really thick and curly. If I braid it behind my head it gets loose and it gets extra frizzy. If I leave it down it gets tangled. I only ever see them as nerdy and plain looking. People say I look like a girl from little house on the prairie
