I have this amp and I love it. Especially for the clean tones. It's the only low cost, digital amp I've heard that can sound like a cranked up Fender Twin.

Me too! Mine came yesterday and it sounds and plays like a dream. The cleans on it are ridiculously smooth.

I just got a Code100 combo, and to be honest, it sounds amazing. I did load a few presets from Marshall’s website, and I love it.

They really are great little amps. I like the additional FX Loop that comes on the 100 watt version.

Hello, Doctor McFarland, thank you for this video! I just got a Marshall Code 50 and I've been testing lots of different sounds on it. I'm quite happy and satisfied =D May I ask you if you still have and/or use this amp? Cheers

Rafael Zagolin I borrowed this amp from a friend to do the videos. I must say there are some nice tones for sure.

I put a six band EQ in front an wow MAJOR deference! it makes it break up really nice

It works the same for all amps. An Eq can really help shape the tone.

Thank you friend!! This video it's very useful for me, because I have a Marshall Code 50, but I don't how squeeze all the juice of this amp.

Cool amp. I find the printing on the digital screen to small to read compare to the Fender Gt series.

Can you connect this with peddles?
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios4 жыл бұрын
Yes of course. The 100 watt version had an FX loop so you can do the 4CM setup but you can’t with the 50 watt version.

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios There is also the Marshall PEDL-91009 4-way Footswitch for Code Amplifiers. The videos on it make it seem like it makes this amp easier to go from one patch to another, which allows the player to extract even more out of this little powerhouse. Thank you for this video. You focused more on editing than actually playing your guitar for extended periods of time. I liked that, although, I realize you NEED to play to demonstrate what you're doing. Thanks Again!

Hola Ricardo, ¿existe alguna App que detecte el presets? O sea cuando escucho alguna canción con guitarra eléctrica.

I had the 100 for about 30 days. One of the worst amps I've ever played. I'm sure there are those that dig and more power to them but I'm not one of them.
@ethanparsons96155 жыл бұрын
Personally i love mine, and i really respect the fact you arent being rude like alot of the other people who dislike this amp
@richiebohr54215 жыл бұрын
@@ethanparsons9615 everybody has their own thing. There are things a lot of people like that I don't and vice versa. To each his own. If something works for you, go for it! Overall, I think I'm in the minority in that I don't like most Seymour Duncan pickups to me the JB being one of the worst. Some of my best friends can't live without it! I say, rock on!

This video wouldn't have been so painfully long if you had actually checked the amp out first. One more thing, very difficult to hear your voice. Good job otherwise!
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios3 жыл бұрын
I wanted to see how intuitive it was. The Boss Katana is much easier to figure out. Thanks for watching.
@johnsproat65293 жыл бұрын
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios I couldn't agree more. I also find Fender Mustang amps to be more user friendly, but the CODE really brings the tone. Thanks for posting!
