Thomas F. Wilson is his name. He played - Biff Tannen 1985 - also the alternative 1985 Biff - and (1955) Griff Tannen (2015) and old Biff (2015) "Mad Dog" Bufford Tannen (1885) Yes, very talented. Also very DIFFERENT from his character - he's actually very nice guy in real life!

I love the fact in this scene you have four western iconic character actors (Dub Taylor, Harry Carey Jr, Pat Buttram, Matt Clark) playing saloon patrons and the bartender. It goes to show why this is the best of the trilogy.

@Kobobble I'm hearing that where the director Robert Zemeckis should have prepared the hanging scene better than that where at 3:31 should have been a remote controlled plastered mannequin that was made to look like Michael J. Fox. Then from 3:36-3:38 could be Michael J. Fox acting like he was choking without the harness too tightly onto his throat. Then from 3:39-3:59 the remote controlled plastered mannequin looking like Michael J. Fox should have been used. Without any of that stuff, I'm sure Michael J. Fox was probably thinking to Christopher Lloyd, "hurry up Christopher, shoot the gun and get me down I can't breathe" especially since Christopher Lloyd was walking before holding up the gun to aim.
