The game has a unique style that does look appealing, but I won’t be interested in it outside of some gameplay and design choices for Marvel characters. If it is successful past the first month, it will definitely be making some DIRTY money off skins or progression boosters. Interestingly, a non-insignificant amount of Overwatch’s popularity came from certain suggestive ideas of characters (Battleborn actually tried to get the community to make explicit content to keep the game alive). Whether Disney would let that kind of thing happen to their characters is a pretty funny thing to think about.

@@Heyesy I mean I've heard that thought from a lot of people but my thing is like in an open world like game why diminish what makes Hulk unique? like let us have control of the transformation whenever we want, it's a cool and unique trait that sets him apart from literally every other Tank or Brawler in anything else. He isn't just a Tank. there's a lot that Hulk/Banner can do beyond just punch and sponge damage. and there's plenty of games that allow morphing or transformations like in Skyrim or in Prototype or like I said Lego. There hasn't been a Hulk game since 2008 and the last good one was 2005's Ultimate Destruction. Beyond that he's barely been allowed in anything besides Mobile Games which pretty much have all been D-listed. The most recent Games we got with him have all but flopped *Cough* Marvel's Avengers *Cough*, Midnight Suns was okay I guess, for a card game it was far more enticing than Marvel SNAP but that's about it. Ultimate Alliance 1-2 are D-listed and 3 is a Switch exclusive so not much to say there. It honestly sucks to be a Hulk fan these days, I mean we can't have 1 single solo movie, no show, no animated series (no good one since 1996) and no games. At least the Comics are good but that's literally all we got now.

but control is exactly the thing hulk doesnt have. he doesnt choose when to become hulk or banner. unless its the boring version. i can hardly imagine a spiderman ps4 type of game where bruce has solid control and decides to become bruce so he can press some buttons or get through a city square without drawing attention, only to then turn into hulk to scale a wall and beat some cyborgs

@@kallemetsahalme5701 I think you're missing the point. Having the ability to transform from Banner to Hulk would be a never ending spectacle with near endless possibilities in an open world setting. Think of it like this, you remember that scene from Avengers when Banner said "I'm Always Angry"? then proceeds to one punch a charging Leviathan? or what about in Incredible Hulk when he jumped out of a Helicopter and fell straight through the concrete then emerged as the Hulk ready to charge at Abomination. or even all the Hulk outs in the cartoons, I'm telling you that would never get boring especially if done right in a Big Open World with plenty of things to do and places to go from under ground to the high stratosphere or even extend to deep space somehow. Hulk has been to many places in his solo comic runs I guarantee you there is a great fun way to fully realize his potential without having to nerf him severely. I could think of countless ways to make the greatest Hulk game that does all that and more and to simplify the balance here's what you do, you give Hulk a rage meter/gauge that will increase or decrease his stats making him completely accurate to how his powers work since it all depends on his anger. So imagine his rage reaches a certain point were he cannot be moved or rag dolled by certain things and his attacks carry a bigger aera of effect then before along with his movements being far faster and more impactful. At Max Rage he could use his Critical Attacks like from Ultimate Destruction as well as go World Breaker for Max Stat Boost and one Critical attack which can cover the entire map and afterwards bring him back to base levels. As Banner I imagine him playing very similar to the likes of a GTA like character which again can make for a very immersive experience. As for the story I would want a branching path that has multiple endings depending on you're morality with a karma system similar to Infamous or Web of Shadows or even Shadow The Hedgehog, Hulk/Banner is a morally gray character at times and has been shown he can go either way so to have such a multi-layered story with all this in mind I think automatically this would make for the best Hulk Game or even best Superhero game ever made

Damn... A remake of that would be so good. Especially if they add more characters and expanded the story. But I think it's a little too dark for Disney Marvel.

If the game is for free, has all the characters unlocked, and only MTX are the microtransactions, then this could work really well.

the game is free that is a fact but for the charactars they gonna do them like some other games like valorant/apex etc.... where you have to buy them with ingame currency

@@AP_flacko I think that is a mistake if they truly want to beat Overwatch 2. Marvel characters will sell their own MTX easily. Though this is also me being optimistic about Marvel, because besides Marvel Snap, they really haven't been consumer friendly.
