Body is wrecked? Of course it is wrecked. He went to war and came back with PTSD. Even if the VA was the best there’s not much they could do to treat PTSD and chronic pain. We just learn to live with it. The only hope is to find a decent therapist in the private sector. Oh, and don’t go it alone.
@LegalectricАй бұрын
I hope you'll take so many of the comments about PTSD, struggles to adjust to life back home, injuries and necessary physical and mental care to heart and do a 4 day stint at our VA in Bloomington, rotating through various outpatient clinics and inpatient wards. Returning veterans need support, and the VA funding has not been what's necessary -- too many veterans go without needed care. The VA helped both my WWII vet parents not only buy a house and get an education, but with medical care in advanced age. It's a very important resource that deserves more attention and a funding increase for all programs. Support our veterans. We owe them more than we can possibly repay.

Don’t listen to a thing everyone says on here. It’s a great opportunity to experience a taste of what the marine corps has to offer and I’m happy to see you enjoying it. I’ve watched your videos for years now long before I thought about enlisting and it’s wild to see this pop up now of all times when my next duty station is Camp Pendleton. It’s good stuff devil pup!

Top Gun Maverick-The Marine. Hurrah!! So proud of you for the extreme challenge and hard effort. Been waiting for this. Great job on compiling this video at the same time, and not afraid of being vulnerable. Great recruitment video:)

GREAT video Mavrik! This video, much like your Marine experience, is entirely up to the individual what they get out of it. Please remember that just because a hundred a-holes say something negative, does NOT mean it represents the the hundreds of thousands of people that watched the video. Haters gonna hate. Negative people tend to be the loudest ones. The more popular you get, the more hateful weirdos are going to come and leave off topic comments questioning people’s gender identity, sexuality and video choices (golf, snowboarding etc). That’s what insecure people who are unhappy with themselves do. Thankfully they represent less than 1% of your viewers. You’re crushin’ it. Keep on trucking’.
