Constant smart phone use (games and endless scrolling) coupled with sexually / intimacy withholding is in my opinion infidelity if not worse than infidelity.

Some people have to. My wife is an operating room nurse and has to take off her ring to maintain sterility.

Just like avoidant won't communicate their needs and wants, but they hold resentment and anger for so long and then they use that anger to cheat on the partner as justification for cheating. Alos they are very insecure people and do have sex addiction to get validation and dopamine rush.

​@arianamontenegro5528 No. If you are casually dating, it is not cheating to date more than one person. I think having sex is what screws this up for people. Women tend to feel more emotionally involved with the man if they are having sex. They then don't want him to be having sex with anyone else. If he does, they feel betrayed. He, though, can have sex without getting emotionally involved. He doesn't think he cheated on you. Technically, he didn't, if you haven't had a discussion about only dating each other. One way to lessen some of this confusion is to postpone having sex until you have been dating for 3 months. If the guy is serious about getting to know you he will wait.
