Speaking as someone who did this, unless you have kids, walk away. Much better off in the end for both partners. You will cause much pain to your partner without even meaning to during the "process" of recovery and the mistakes you will make during "repair work" will cause more damage than the infidelity itself.

took 6 month for my wife to realise she was in the danger zone starting emotional cheating with a work "friends" "We are just friends"!!! !Only when I said ok can I do the same... she start to open her eyes

I completely understand what you are saying and that poor choices led to this situation. My question is regardless of whether there is an emotional affair or not why is there no accountability for emotional neglect by a partner, and seems like this is especially the case when it is a wife. They just play into the societal assumption that men don't have any feelings, so it doesn't matter.

Excellent advice for both. Glad you are realistic about the time frame and hard work it takes. I think I would increase the time to at least three years.
