Dude! I have two layers of hihats on top of eachother. I nudged one pattern over slightly and it gave the whole damn beat life and some bounce. Thanks for that lil tip.

When I used to record a drum loop I would hit a note overlapping the previous one and it would replace it but now it just leaves the notes on top of each other. It slows down my workflow. Do you know why it's doing this & how to fix it ?

just select the notes you want to nudge and do it the same way...(Without Event)

I dont think it works the same when using mikro controller. The nudge moves way to far im not sure how or where to make it move slightly.could you speak on this?

I found it. On the MK1 it's Knob 5 in select mode. That swing is dope.

Why "nudge"? Why not take your "quantize during recording" performance and just add "swing"? The effect of swing or shuffle is add or subtract distance between hits within a bar, but the bar stays in time with the BPM. I can see someone starting with a heavy "swing" setting and maybe adding some "nudge" for an exaggerated effect (swagger?), but I wouldn't think "nudging" would be my starting point. But what do I know...I just play instruments.
