If you like potato Salad but don't want all the carbs. Substitute cauliflower for the boiled potatoes. Just cut and boil the cauliflower for 10 minutes, drain and run under cold water. Drain again and then add boiled eggs, pickle relish, onion and mayo a little mustard salt & pepper. Mix chill enjoy

Fill ice cube trays with your smoothie mix. Then throw a few ice cubes into the blender and mix with almond milk or coconut milk. That makes it so you can pre-make a bunch and not end up with a huge solid block that will overwhelm your blender.

I'll admit - when I started the video playing - I thought the sausage and egg bites were going to be like an egg muffin (like an omelette style cupcake). Me eating bugles watching Christine prepare all this healthy food. 😂. For those interested, a true keto diet is not only very low in carb, it is also very high in fat. Additionally, to see most of the weight loss benefits or the other health benefits often associated with it, it needs to be done consistently so your body will stop using glucose for fuel and start using ketones (an alternative fuel source your liver will start producing)

No diet drinks (or foods) allowed in my house. Artificial sweeteners lead to migraines here. And I've heard they're just as bad as sugar. So I run on the theory of limit the junk (but still have it occasionally). So pizza once a month (or less...its emergency food) yes, fast food twice a month ok, bake a treat once or twice a month yes (no daily/weekly what have you dessert), stay out of the bakery, cookie, candy & chip isles. Oh and the ice cream isle...that's hard when summer lasts 8 months...

@keepyourheadup91834 жыл бұрын
I think people believe that by disliking a video they’re teaching the KZbin algorithm not to suggest certain types of videos again, but in actuality, any interaction on a video strengthens it’s ties to your personal analytics. So you’re right, if they don’t want to see it they should just ignore it - don’t view, like, dislike or save it to any list.
@1jmass4 жыл бұрын
Mary Davidson I don’t agree with the reasoning, but I have read that some folks use the thumbs down if the video says, or maybe just implies by a picture, that they will be talking about a certain subject, but it is not what the person was expecting. Or perhaps the watcher disagrees with the opinion or content on the video. Then we are back to just don’t watch it.

My husband and I have been on a keto lifestyle for over 2 years. It scares some people but really it's a clean eating lifestyle minus most sugars, flours and processed foods. If you're interested in it for athleticism and peformance then there are a lot of documentaries on netflix and KZbin from athletes or former athletes who have a ton of knowledge. And doctors too. Mark Sisson is a former long distance runner on a national team who can explain a lot about carbs and performance. There's documentary called the skinny on fat or something close to that that is amazing. Also one about an Australian cyclist bikes across Australia for 40+ days on a keto diet. Very interesting if you're in to nutritional science. One little tip, in your video when you told your husband that maybe he needs a double shake because he'll be hungry soon; I'd suggest eating a healthy fat with it instead like macadamia nuts or a high fat low carb nut, or an avocado or eggs. Just an idea that works for us
