Against 343 I always play 2 strikers and “mismatch up” a big TF up against their worst CB in the air. I then put my fastest striker on his slowest CB as an AF. The flick-on headers and through balls are insane. Run this strat with Brentford a lot.

You should do a vid going over opposition instructions and individual player instructions in depth to achieve a certain attacking or defensive overload. Example: You want to take opposition AML and WBL out of the game and push them to the right. Who do you man mark, who do you set to trigger press always? Super interesting topic because there’s more than one way to achieve and it’s all based on your player and opposition player profiles.

If I would like to leave one player free in opponent's 343/3421 system, that guy would most likely to be one of the 3 center backs, especially the middle one, given its low participation in the attacking phase. Another thing I would recommend is to overload certain areas as 343/3421 are not all-round balanced formations in FM. 3421 narrow usually leave natural spaces in both flanks so overloading the flank with 2 man wingplay system will be great. 343 wide however has only 2 DM in the middle, which will easy be dominate by 3 man midfield or BOX midfield.

Can you do a video on tactical familiarity? I spend my entire life trying to max out that bar but you’re clearly extremely successful not caring about it. I’d like to know your thoughts on it. Great video!

he has talked about it in his "episode 0" of this series just talking about his approach in general. He thinks it defs has an affect on the performance, but trying to max it out maxed you inflexible basically

Always have match practice and tactics in your training schedule.

I do not believe tactical familiarity does anything, but because I refuse to let it go, I still use inverted wingers on support and wing backs because I can play 4 and 3 at the backs while keeping it high. In my experience its just an aesthetic and has very very minimal to do with results!

I'm curious to try a 3-4-3 after seeing all your network videos. How do you setup your set pieces? Do you find that you score more from set pieces because you have more tall CB's and DM's than the other teams?
