Welcome to our video on an overview of the periodic table of the elements! In this video, we'll take a closer look at the periodic table and explore the different elements that make up the world around us.
Starting with a brief history of the periodic table, we'll delve into the organization of the table, including the periods and groups, and explain how they relate to the properties of the elements. We'll also discuss some of the key characteristics of each group, such as the alkali metals, halogens, and noble gases.
As we explore each element, we'll highlight its atomic structure, physical and chemical properties, and common uses. You'll learn about everything from the highly reactive alkali metal sodium to the inert noble gas argon, and much more.
By the end of this video, you'll have a solid understanding of the periodic table and the fundamental elements that make up our world. Whether you're a student, a science enthusiast, or just curious about the elements, this video is sure to be an engaging and informative resource.

What about the ones we have yet to discover I’m sure we’ve touched them in some way.
@valen0276
@valen0276 11 ай бұрын
We've technically already discovered every natural element. The ones we are yet to "discover" are very unstable, with large quantities of protons (more that 118) and thus don't exist in nature. Actually, you have probably never touched any element with more than 87 protons, which is the last few rows of the table

Is the number on the table indicative of how common or rare an element is? I just heard Elon Musk make a statement about Li being common that’s why it’s #3.
@azur7362
@azur7362 11 ай бұрын
It's just an indicator of the amount of protons the element is build from, it doesn't indicate rarity since there are lots of elements that are artificially created, and thus exist in a quantity not relevant to the contents of the periodic table.
