Hi, how are you? I'm studying the tesselator every day, I'm loving it, loving everything. I still have a little trouble customizing the colors I want in the picture. so I solved before using the action button to make the color palette and save. so only after using the action I look for the pick and it gets better for me. my question is: is it possible to develop an action in which we can extract this color palette and save. choosing the colors before in the image itself I found it better. I tried here to do this action more due to the amount of colors I want in a certain art, I don't give an example: if the art I built the action has 7 colors ok. more if the other has 8 or more colors the action stops as far as it was built. he understands? Hi, sorry to write a lot about this program, well... I don't speak English so I use the translator via the web, so my learning with this tool takes longer. my question is: is there any action among these that i bought that transforms the master coloriz layer into halftone. I have used , in some arts that I work I do better in colorize.

You must have read my mind, because I was just working on an update to the Master Colorizer action set to include an option of converting the final layers into halftones using these new pattern files. I've added the patterns file and the new action for making a pattern layer to it already. I'm almost finished with the update and actually the next video is about that because it is related to this new Photo-Tessellator package. I'm excited that you are trying to learn these tools! You can try using the "Make Rotated Pattern Layer" action at the bottom of the Photo-Tessellator 2022 action set like you see in this video... it will generate a new layer filled with the pattern you choose and set to the angle you choose (enter the angle you want both times the dialog appears). Then you can set that layer to the "Hard Mix" blending mode and it will change the layer below into halftones. Check out the next video about how to do this. I see every time I do an experiment, I always use a resolution of 1200 dpi, this is very painful for my computer. Can it be done at a fairly low resolution, usually I use a resolution of 300 dpi to 720dpi?

You can run at 600 dpi and usually get decent results if your intention is screenprinting with the halftone patterns. I know 1200 dpi can be really difficult on a system. Try also when you are experimenting or testing to pick colors, make your image smaller like 50% the size, run at 600 dpi, and then you should be able to make things move faster until you know your final decisions on colors and other settings.... then run 100% size at 600 dpi.

What screen print shop do you work at?

Hey actually since this video was a couple months back, I'm just doing stuff at my own shop now, it is in upstate NY. I may be getting into some print videos there so I can actually show more of how I take things to screens and print and get into the R&D and experiments, etc. Currently I am working on doing a new video like this weekend to help show people about this new exciting tool for art called Midjourney, and this is really going to help me show some fun art examples I can generate to do color adjustment and separation and print videos without using just stock art. Super fun stuff if you haven't seen it there is a free open beta running now and just launched a couple days ago. The implications are really astounding!
