Would probably be an insurance nightmare, but until the shop gets completely filled up it would be cool for the untrained unprofessionals to have a lift and be able to do some tinkering to their own bikes under a highly trained unprofessional's guidance if they need it. Rent some tools, rent some space for a few hours as it were. I like doing my own work to my bike, but I don't have a good enough lift and my tool supplies are limited, especially when it comes to specialty tools.
