I love how much you love heartstopper. I watched the show first (genuinely life changing - sent me into a real spiralling crisis of identity but it did allow me to take a step towards self acceptance) but everything about the books and show is perfection. Definitely read the nick & charlie novella once you finish the novels (i think it’s set when nick is planning to go to uni or is in his first year), but alice has created such perfect REAL characters trying to navigate life and the fact that she also wrote the show scripts is what makes it the perfect tv adaptation. Also Kit Connor and Joe Locke are beyond the perfect casting for Nick and Charlie.
