The TV crew didn't believe you were a survivor? one look at you, your condition, and considering who is going to go out for a midnight stroll in the middle of a forest at sub zero temperatures? That's insane.

Story #1 is incredibly sad 😔. My goodness.. Can you imagine no ground warning.. That literally could have saved them. Or seems that way. R. I. P. To all whom lost their lives in this air bus. ✈

I love the civilian commentators after nearly every plane crash: _”If the black boxes are designed to survive a crash, why can’t they design _*_THE WHOLE PLANE_*_ like that?”_ The answers are: 1.) They could, but the plane would be way too heavy to take off, and; 2.) Even if it could take off, even if the plane survived the crash, the passengers couldn’t survive the G forces of the crash.

Air Inter went out of business in 1997. In 2006, six people went on trial for the crash of flight 148: Airbus TD Bernard Ziegler, the head of DGAC Pierre-Henri Gourgeon, DGAC head of training Claude Frantzen, two other Air Inter officials, and the ATC Eric Lammari. They were all acquitted.

@@jmc8076 Honestly I was surprised they went to trial as the official report (I only skimmed through it) seemed straightforward. It was odd that seven years would go by and THEN they decide to start a trial? Weird. I believe the former head of Air Inter went on to work for Airbus and around 2006-2007 he still defended the lack of GCAS on all Airbus passenger jets. Who knows if that's universally mandated now.

Just for the lack of knowledge,to whom it may be interesting: Back in days i was an aviation equipment technician for Soviet Air Force , i was working on military jets ,and the "black box" ( actually it was orange red) had a metal wire instead of magnetic tape ,it was much easier to save in case if crash, but even steel wire got damaged from flame ,it wouldn't burn but metal changing structures and loosing all data if it was next to the fire for long.

I’ve watched so many of these shows mainly bc I wanted to fly for the commercial airlines and I wanted to be the best pilot there is/was, however, I don’t like being a passenger bc your not in control. And anytime I was riding on the planes my anxiety went through the roof, knowing a lot about planes and the issues that can unexpectedly rise while still in the air is nerve recking for me…

In Florida and many other parts of the United States, a "Code 4" in lifeguard terminology typically means that the situation is under control or that no further assistance is needed. It usually indicates that an emergency has been resolved, or a rescue is complete, and everything is safe. In U.S. Coast Guard terminology, Code 4 has a similar meaning to lifeguard usage, indicating that the situation is under control or that no further assistance is needed. Specifically, in Coast Guard and law enforcement communications, "Code 4" often signals that a unit has responded to a situation, assessed it, and determined there is no immediate danger or need for further action.

@@Penguin_of_Death I live in the UK and Israel. The event took place in the USA. Code 4 means what I said it means and therefore the video is incorrect. Often it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Just finding the wing separate from the plane shows that it DID detach and where. It DOESN’T EXPLAIN ANYTHING about WHY it detached to the investigators who weren’t at the initial crash.
