Love your channel man! I really appreciate your size comparisons and review. Just a little feedback though, when you edit your videos, try not to have your intro song be so loud. It’s not really synced or consistent with the sound of the whole video. It’s like loud blasted music intro and then normal voiceover volume after. Other than that, dope video man!!!

I have been waiting for well articulated arkham asylum figures, and these are amazing! Hope they make some more like harley or scarecrow. Do wish instead of the origins stuff he came with some explosive gel or the ultra batclaw though. I may buy a few of these to have him fighting some of my dc direct villains.

Great review as always! I could see myself having to actually repaint the eyes it I can’t find a better sample than that, for me it’s the one major visual thing holding the figure back. I know this carries over some of the odd proportions from the detective 1000 Batman but for the character model from the game I think that it actually works given Batman did literally have a completely oversized upper chest. His proportions were then adjusted quite a bit in Arkham Knight, but I’ll always prefer the over the top look of Batman from the first two games. Is it weird that I still think Batman looked best in Origins though? Lol

Great review. This series was hit or miss for me. I am absolutely getting this Batman because he is completely superior to all the other DC Direct/Collectibles they had for the Arkham line except for the Arkham Origins one. That was a great figure. This Batman I have to say with sculpt and source material Mcfarlane nailed it. The Joker though was not impressive at all. So i just grabbed the DC Direct Arkham asylum one on the secondary market. He's worth the high price as is Harley. My hope is that McFarlane does more from this franchise. We need an articulated Bane, Mr. Freeze and updates on most the major characters. Especially Riddler. Great review. Praise from a major Batfan. 9/10 for this figure too.

Like a couple days ago. Keep an eye on Walmart.com, you can pre order him for $19.99, but they sell out fast. It will also SOMETIMES tell you if a nearby store has one in stock (as they are starting to get them now). Sure, the head look a little weird, but I actually don't mind it. I feel mcfarlane did it on purpose because the old arkham asylum batman figures had their heads like that so maybe he did it so he can fit in with your already existing arkham collection. It really captures the feel of the old figures but with better articulation. I don't have an Arkham collection, I literally only have Arkhan Knight figure but I'm looking forward to having him next to Arkham Knight

They should have included gadgets he uses in every game, batclaw, explosive gel, hacking device, even line launcher. Remote claw is ok, but in cold cold heart, Alfred says the forma for the glue was unstable and degraded into dust. Idk why they bothered explaining that, if they dont for the rest of the new gadgets, just put glue grenade in c.c.h.

Looking back at this figure, it makes me wonder, why couldn't the other Batman figures that have since come out after this one not have the same amount of paint work that was put into certain parts of the figure & the accessories? Did Mcfarlane just go "all out" on this particular figure and then decide not to for the others that have since been released? Honestly if any of the later Batman figures had the same amount of paint work that was applied to this particular figure, it definitely would've made them a bit better.

I’m still going to get it because anything based on the game I love but I wish he would stop with the single joints........all the Mortal Kombat figures have double joints so I don’t know why this one doesn’t......it must be the company that specifies that a figure must have double joints......this is the only figure besides the Joker that I’m getting so far but if the female characters from this game come out just as tall as the males I’m officially out. Single jointed elbow? Jesus that is just disappointing but that’s just Mc Farlane. I think his legs look weird and his horrible torso is just displeasing.. The elbow joint actually ruins the sculpt, they really should’ve given him the articulation a figure deserves. Not for me at all lol.

I think I prefer plastic capes or rubber, but I do see the appeal of cloth capes with wires I could see somebody adding a cloth cape with a wire and making a huge gliding cape like in the game

16:10. Todd needs to fire his sculptor. In no way does that long necked, pin headed, weirdly chested, noodle legged abomination look better than that DC direct. It looks like someone did a head swap with a dollar store figure.

I only have Spawn and Johnny Cage from their Mortal Kombat line, but both are pretty nice. McFarlane makes some real nice stuff nowadays.

Yea this thing looks horrendous... I had high hopes for McFarlane picking up the DC license... So far, its been let down, after let down, after let down...I remember the days when McFarlane madr REALLY good stuff...those days are long gone...how could you possibly say this McFarlane AA Batman is better than ANY of the DC Direct Arkham Batman figures? Its not even close...All the DC McFarlane figures just look super wonky and cheap...Yea the DC Direct line lacks articulation, but at least the figures look good

I must respectfully disagree. McFarlane's newer stuff is better than their old statues. This guy isn't perfect, but I would say he is better than the DC Direct offerings, and I LOVE those figures.

I've been waiting so long for this review.. but disappointed with this figure. First, eyes were not painted properly. Second, it has proportion problem. Same as Mcfarlane comic version of Superman and Batman, upper body (chest and arm) is big and muscular but lower body (especially thigh) looks straight and skinny..

Yeah, they botched my figure's eyes. I don't think they are all like that. The proportions are exaggerated, but most superheroes are. The game itself was quite stylized in that sense, maybe not as much as the figure though.

What is going on with the disgusting proportions? I've looked quite a bit at pics of Batman from the game and his body doesn't look like this. His legs have no shape to them, his head is to small, his chest is to damn big. This figure looks like shit compared to older figures. This figure is so gross looking. I wish I loved in a world where neca got the DC license instead. Oof

I think you’re being a little too harsh, but that’s just my opinion. Don’t forget, Neca doesn’t make figures under $20 like these. He may not be perfect, but I find this to be the best Arkham Batman yet.

Godamn Tod enough with that awful ab section split, just enough!! look at Hasbro's snake eyes if you want some inspiration to do it CORRECTLY. Mcfarlane once again massacring this line. Hire someone who actually knows how to sculpt figures for christ sake.

Wow I couldn’t disagree more. The quality of their DC figures is stellar. I prefer McFarlane Fortnite figures over Jazwares , they do have better accessories though.

The DC Direct one also had a tiny head and derpy eyes. I would say this is the best Arkham Asylum Batman yet.
