I'm thrilled that I've found your channel. Love your content. I've been a WW member off and on since 13, I'm now...69! I've been a lifetime member since losing 60 lbs two years ago. The best part is finding your channel. Meal prep has always been a challenge, I kept eating the same things and got in a rut. Now I'm prepping based on your content. Just a quick tip - years ago I learned at a WW meeting that if you put the mayo/salad dressing in the middle of the sandwich (between the chicken and cheese in this case) the dressing doesn't have a chance to soak through the bread so you end up tasting more of the dressing. Since then I put the mayo/dressing between two slices of lunchmeat instead of on the bread. Anyway - hope this makes sense🤷♀

Hi there! So glad you're enjoying everything! When you make a big helping and divide it, you can just build the recipe in your recipe builder, or just figure what it is for an individual serving. What about fruits and vegetables?
@PlanningUsHealthy2 жыл бұрын
Hi Katie! I had to look back at this video to see what you meant because I eat quite a bit of veggies in a day and usually 2 to 3 servings of fruit. My fruits are usually more of a snack. I'll usually have a fruit with cottage cheese as a mid-morning snack (although there are times I'll have them with my breakfast - just depends how I feel). For veggies, again, just depends on the day as to when I eat them. I am usually snacking on carrots and cucumbers all day, but then I will also sometimes have veggies with my breakfast and lunch as well. The meal preps are different each week and just ideas for people, but they can definitely be changed up. Hope that is what you were asking. :)

Hello- I love your videos. I'm new to WW and I'm on the blue plan. This may be a dumb question, but I see that once you came up with that each of the breakfast bowl would have 198 grams in them...How do you know then the points it will be? I make chicken fried rice (from you channel) but I couldn't figure out the points after I tried to put everything in the recipe builder (again which I don't understand). Please help.
@PlanningUsHealthy4 жыл бұрын
Hi Felicia! Welcome! So glad you're enjoying my videos! :) Basically what I do for the big bulk things like this is just build them into my WW app as a recipe. I name the recipe, put all the ingredients I'm using, and then make sure to change the portion size to six. Then the WW tracker will give you the points for each serving. So then I just weigh the whole thing and divide it by the serving size to get what I need for each one. You can do that with any recipe. So, if you make a recipe, just build it into your WW app as a new recipe, and tell it how many servings it will be. Sometimes you can build the recipe and then after you make the entree, you find that it's a whole lot of food (or sometimes not enough) for a serving. So then you can go back to the recipe you built and edit it to change the number of portions which will change the points. :) I hope I didn't confuse you on that! You know, that's actually a great idea for a future video!!

Kristi, My Misto always has a stream instead of a spray. When something like that happens, I always figure that its me and not the product. Glad to see you have the same problem. Last week son and dil went on vaca and we had the granddaughter, so I was too late to make and put meatloaf in crock, so I baked it in convec oven for about 40 mins and it turned out great. On hand I had ground chicken and used 1/2 lb. ground turkey breast. I added the cheese at the end as I served it since we used 2 diff cheeses. LOL every time I make something I realize I should have put something else in or added something at a diff time than I did. UGH, you are in good company! So happy/Lucky you keep planning us healthy!!!

Ohhh, great tip!! Thanks so much! :) And I know - when my husband saw me putting that on the bread, he was a little skeptical, but he ended up liking it. It's just a tiny amount to give it a little zing. :)
