23:47 I will fight you on that. The side effects of Massive amounts of Vitamin C will only result in dehydration and dizziness. There are no other side effects.
Sir this way of putting multiple stories with different symptoms and age group in the beginning is a great way to generate interest and orient the students to the topic. Though all of your videos are amazing but the starting part made it better. Hope you do the same in upcoming videos too. Thank you for the greatest explanations on KZbin. Bless you 😇

Nice Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Millawdon Right Nourishment Trick (search on google)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for loosing weight while keeping it off without complex diets minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my m8 got astronomical results with it.

Thank You so much. I'm now extremely motivated to study because of your sarcastic style teaching and amazing videos. I had never put my 100% concentration into any lectures I have ever had in my entire medical school life because of how bad and boring our lectures are. Now I'm ashamed to be a medical student. Loads of love from Myanmar. ❤❤❤

I study nutrition and we have this new teacher who's horrible at explaining things in an understandable or interesting way. She goes way too fast and seems to focus only on specific studies and how to read graphs, instead of what we actually need to know. These videos are really helpful.

You are doing a great job. I would like to give you a small advice if you don't mind. I think it would be better if you add some clinical pictures of some disorders and signs so that students could actually see what clinically they look like and understand better rather than just remembering the words. Thankyou.
Hey, what if we send you by free the pictures we have of patient signs, i have some of rare diseases i took in hospital. They aren't many but i have the permission of the patients since it's for educational purposes.

Hypervitaminosis is only applicable to the people susceptible to those symptoms. Define too much acorbate. Many people take mega doses of ascorbate daily with none of those symptoms or issues.

Great lecture and lots of fun! One question is how much ascorbate is too much? I am 76 years old and run about 260-270 miles per month. I have been taking 12,000 mg per day of a mixture of ascorbic acid, magnesium ascorbate, and sodium ascorbate per day for decades now. The last time I had a flu, cold, or sore throat was 50 years ago when I started taking large amounts of vitamin c. How much does all my running, lately at 110+ degrees in Boulder City, NV, increase my need for vitamin c? I take no meds of any kind and have no aging issues, living like a 30 year old. I also take quite a few other supplements. 22 mg/day of astaxanthin has completely eliminated sunburn from my life, even though I spend hours per day in the strong desert sun. Thought on the above? Should I change anything?

Has the pancreas thing actually happened to a human? There are many people taking mammoth amounts of vitamin c, particularly the past few years...

how can you have vit C hypervitaminosis ? isnt it water soluable
@MedicosisPerfectionalis2 жыл бұрын
Using that line of reasoning, no one should develop hyperglycemia since glucose is water soluble. The key is overwhelming the kidney’s ability to excrete even if the substance is water soluble. Does that make sense?
