I really enjoyed this….admittedly I fell asleep in parts and feel a combination of energised and could go back to sleep. Thank you for sharing.

Just a regular mindful meditation of breathing. No help if your breathing is short, constricted by muscles.

Hi Eugene, If your tight muscles are constricting your breathing, you can start by practicing these exercises: somaticmovementcenter.com/back-pain-exercise somaticmovementcenter.com/posture-exercise You can learn more exercises here: somaticmovementcenter.com/learn-somatics-exercises/ And you can learn about pandiculation, which retrains the nervous system to release chronic muscle tension, here: somaticmovementcenter.com/pandiculation-what-is-pandiculation/ I hope that helps!

This was really interesting. I'm pleasantly surprised that I was able to detect the breath flowing through each nostril separately. I wasn't able to feel my heart beating or the blood flowing through my hands though. I am about to start Level One of the Somatic Movement program, and as I progress I look forward to feeling these sensations and more. I recently learned about the many benefits of breathing entirely through the nose. Many guided meditations guide you to inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth, and I'm so pleased that you are into full-on nose breathing. I'm really grateful that I found you, Sarah.
