20:40 Vitamins in all generations before 8 don't actually "max out" your EVs. They get you up to a maximum of 100 (technically you can use it at 99 at get 109 EVs and starting in Gen8 you can pump them up to their cap). Each EV can have a max of 255 (252 in later generations) and you have a max of 510 across all stats. Hearing "max out" in terms of EVs is a bit of a misnomer.

Since you mentioned starting gen 6 runs, I'll continue my tradition of suggesting a challenge for a game that I'm playing for the first time: X or Y with only gift Pokémon. You get a gen 6 starter, a gen 1 starter that can Mega Evolve, a Lucario that can Mega Evolve, a Fossil Pokémon and Lapras! It's like they're challenging you to lose with such an awesome team!

Cranial nerve 2 (the optic nerve) should not be affected by neck/spinal problems unless vascular is compromised coming from the neck. Pain can potentially impact vision

Gosh I'm sure you were about to give up, for the challenge with Wingull. I was so sure you wouldn't made it not even on level 100. That lucky shot against the Lapras really got me off guard. Pokémon Challenge suggestion: You are free to go with the game of your choice, but the challenges is using only middle evolution stage pokémon. (For Exemple: If you pick Bulbasaur as your starter, you can only battle with Ivysaur.) You are not allowed to use pokémon who's has no evolution or only 1, it must be a pokémon with a 2 stage linear Evolution. So pokémon like Eevee or Tyrogue are not allowed, but pokémon like Oddish, Poliwag or Ralts are allowed. Try number: 18

There is not a special attack version of Intimidate. It has been a massive overhanging problem within competitive pokemon. It's why Incineroar is the best competitive pokemon since 2017.

You're absolutely right about Special Attackers by the way. Between Intimidate, Burn, and contact punishment abilities (Poison point, rough skin, flame body, etc) physical Attackers have a harder time than special. There's no special equivalent to any of those.

Yeah the mention of cost of living made me look up the difference, admittedly in aggregate, and it just seems like pocket change compared to the cost of health care in the US. IDK his finances, so maybe it makes sense, but I have the unfortunate feeling like he's lowballing the cost of healthcare in the US, by just looking at private insurance premiums and maybe copays for regular doctor visits, and not stuff like deductibles and co-insurance percentages up to the out-of-pocket maximums.

Yeah, I'm hoping he knows that even with private insurance, they won't cover between the first couple thousand (if you have expensive premiums, or a job that figures it's cheaper to pay the insurance company, in a bulk rate, than you any extra) to roughly ten thousand (if you only have still fairly expensive premiums), and even after that will only cover ~50-80% costs until you reach your out of pocket maximum. IDK his finances, so maybe it still makes sense, but if I could, I'd move to Canada from the US in a heartbeat, just from the differences in healthcare costs, difference in cost of living be damned.

If you didn't know when you complete the post game fire red after getting the ruby and sapphire, if you challenge the elite four again they all have some different pokemon and theyre all higher levels. Do any challenge you want but do it on fire red and also beat the post game elite four.

Mbdama have you ever thought about doing a fishrod only or headbutt only Nuzlock in gen 2? Basically you can only have 1 of any pokemon in your party at a time, however, lets say your gyrados faints, if there is route or town you havent gotten a pokemon from, you can get a magikarp from it. Same idea for headbutting trees.

I have an idea for a fun challenge, One that means you could even use Drowzee. Can you beat Pokemon Black (Or any game from gen's 5 ,6 or 7) with only the move Assist? Purrloin learns Assist at level 6 so it'd be the starter, Then if you get a male Purrloin you can breed it with other's to get more Pokemon. I think this would be a great wacky challenge since the more Pokemon on your team the more random the move is. For any that don't know Assist uses a random move known by any of the user's party Pokémon, With some exceptions. So even Pokemon that can't use Assist would still be useful if they have good moves that Assist can use. Drowzee is in the Human-Like Egg Group so If you want one with Assist you'd need a Spinda since they're in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so can breed with Purrloin and Drowzee. You could also use a Chimchar as a starter if you give it Assist as an Egg Move, They're also in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so a male one can breed the move into any Pokemon with Assist.

MDVAMA: Collab idea- each KZbinr gets two pokemon, one selected at random to be the ace and the other can be any that KZbinr wants. But only those two can be used in battle, and the ace has to be the higher level at all times. Best time wins.

bruh I'm not jealous of Canadian healthcare anymore (not saying the US is better either). Sucks man. Probably worth it to at least try getting an appointment elsewhere since you have 6.5 months. Also if people are getting appointments quicker elsewhere to the point the provider is complaining about them, that says more about the provider not being able to get quicker appointments than the bad communication. So yeah, to this day, there is nothing in the main series with abilities or debuffs that effect special attack. We have stuff like Burn and Intimidate, but nothing for special attacks. The only thing we have is Frostbite in Legends Arceus.

Regarding the Intimidate equivalent for Special Attack, such an ability doesn't exist yet. However, Gen 9 introduced Ruin legendary quartet that each lowers Atk, Def, Sp. Atk & Sp. Def for all mons except itself(even allies in doubles), So, they're grt for singles but not so much for doubles.
