Just looked up Loni's lineage and she is half siblings with my boy Sammy! (4 years old, Racing name Wildkat Sam). Djay's Octane was the daddy dog for both puppers! Sammy raced around 50 races and has been off the track since December 2020. Today is actually his one year Adoptiversary! So happy I came across sister Loni here on Sammy's special day! He's going to get lots of tasty treats to celebrate. Thanks for being such a wonderful Greyhound Ambassador!

Loni is incredibly cute. The fact that Bunny is so adaptive, getting along with foster dogs so easily, says a lot about how well JnJ have raised her (remember how timid Bunny used to be?). No offense to the other dogs, but I feel like to them the fosters don't make that much of a difference. I imagine Marbles has no clue what's going on, Kermit is suffering no matter what happens, and Peachy, bless her, was just a happy little sunshine all along and would adopt any big sister you give her. It's Bunnys progress in this situation that amazes me the most.

Remember folks, a foster fail is always also a rehoming success. 💗 Not that they failed with Loni; they did everything they could. It was Loni that wasn't having it. She decided where her home was and she stuck with it. Good girl.

5 dogs is perfect lol. I honestly don’t know how you can say bye to some of these pups. I volunteered at a humane society Pre Covid, and it was so hard. I fell in love with so many dogs, but what helped was that I wasn’t taking them home with me.

Our baby Monty gets such a sick tum whenever his world changes. When he first came to us, when we went on holidays and when he was with my parents because we had to be in hotel quarantine. But he’s becoming so resilient I think next time he will cope a bit better. They are such sensitive little souls.
