Hearing you describe what you thought your child should be doing literally had me laughing. Not because it was unrealistic but because it completely describes my husband and daughter as toddlers. I a #6 out of 8 children and I started babysitting at 11 years old (crazy I know) ,but my siblings and I were always very creative and had amazing imaginations which was fostered from an early age. Both of my parents belonged to the neighborhood theater guild and they put on plays at least twice a year so it was natural for us kids to make up and put on plays with our friends. We even charged admission. We started reading to our daughter before she was born and continued after she arrived so she always loved books and stories. I used to ask her questions before getting ready for bed and then I used her answers to create the stories I told her each night. So she has always had a huge vocabulary and spoke like she was much older than her actual age and her Dad was the same way. I loved listening to her play with her toys because she had such an incredible imagination and still does. Both my husband and I are teachers. He teaches high school English and I taught elementary school grades 3, 1, and kindergarten.

My mom was a missionary in Brazil, back when the whole country was one mission (the mid or late 1950’s). I used to beg her to say the blessing on the food in Portuguese - I only remember the first few words & she died 20-years ago in May, so can’t ask her to do that anymore. Think that’s great how Meg learned that song!

Meg, the truth of your answer at 11:53 is something I had to learn as a new quad. I bought a Pioneer rack system and I would turn the music so loud. It was like a screaming roar to release the monster's rage trapped inside. I see your monster's face at 13:00. I love you Meg 😘

Question/favor: I have a C4 - C6 injury and recently lost the ability to push (this is important for going to the bathroom), can you please consider doing a video on how you shift around to use your stomach muscles? If you broke C3, C4, C5 and C6 and NOT C7...how is it you call yourself a C7 quad?

Because in a spinal cord injury, usually only 1 or 2 vertebrae are fractured. I’ve actually never encountered anyone who fractured more than 2 vertebrae except you.

@@TechGirl84 just curious, where did you get your information? Many, many have multiple breaks. Even Meg has 3 breaks and they have a special name for a Jefferson fracture which is C1 and a lower fracture. C1 must be wicked scary. I'm not quite sure if I understand mine...I broke C4...but C5 and C6 are more damaged 🤔. They say two above the break and two below the break are affected. Maybe that answers my question with Meg saying she is a C7 quad...yet didn't say she actually broke C7. I also didn't fracture 3 vertebrate...I chipped the outer edge of C4...but C5 ad C6 fused and caused spinal cord issues. It almost looks as if there is tethering at that spot; hence the C4 - C6 spinal cord injury. When you break your neck, you go into what's called a 'spinal shock' which is when your spinal cord area has A LOT of swelling and inflammation and it's often difficult to tell which vertebrate is actually damaged. This is often why doctors go by 'what is your function level'? When the spinal shock wears off and things are more visible...then they know what's more likely going on. Did I explain it to where you understand more?

Shes a preemie , her body is extra small so her head just looks bigger . Born at 32 weeks instead of 40 weeks
