What I get from this - Mubina is the calm, cool, but still extremely fun when she wants to be, kind of person. The aunt who gives the best life advice. Will talk to you till you feel better. Sidra is the one who is all over the place, chaotic in the best way - deffo the one who can make you start rolling on the floor with laughter when you're feeling down. Both of them are the sweetest people you will ever know, and you'd be lucky to know them. I am no Muslim, but damn, I wish they were my aunts or something. Also, I have zero idea how to address them, since I'm quite young, and don't want to use just their names, but using 'aunty' makes me feel like I'm calling them old, lol

Thank you Becky, this means a lot to us. There are a lot of stereotypes about Muslims that arent true so we try to show people how we actually live our life. We enjoy learning about other beliefs as well - it helps us be more respectful to others.

@@MehdinaTV that is so true! If we are only open to our own way of thinking, imagine how much we would miss out on, and how boring life would be. One of the greatest compliments I have ever been given is that I was one of the least judgmental people this particular person had ever met. I've raised my son to believe that it is our job to love people and God's job to judge them. That actually is a very freeing way to live because that means I just get to love others, and it leaves no room to hate anyone. I hope you are having a beautiful day wherever you are living. Ngl your lots voices sound very similar. I was tripping half way through the video when I realised I didn't know who was talking. But anyway loving the representation for muslim women. I don't wear the niqab, just hijab and an abayah (I'm trying to wear and abayah and more modest clothes but since I'm a med student during placements and stuff it can be sorta hard with all the health and safety stuff). I haven't really struggled much with the hijab alhamdulillah but sometimes I do struggle with wearing the abayah and don't have much motivation. It's nice and motivating to see islamic wear being represented as it actually is and not in some TV show with random stereotypes attached. May Allah put barakat in both you and your families lives and may he reward you for the positivity you spread ❤️❤️❤️

Have you thought to wear jilbab instead of abaya? In home I just wear tshirt and leggings...tbh on most days I don't even wear pants 😂 because I have no reason to cover in home. But when I go outside, I like the jilbab because it is so breezy it really makes the humidity of the midwest (USA) bearable. I can be fine in desert heat because my niqab is a full face cover (including eyes) and protects me from sand and dust storms. The jilbab is also great because it picks up all the air and cools me quickly.

It doesn't! The fabric is loose, breathable, and regularly washed, plus when they're at home they don't have to wear it. The vast majority of muslimahs do not face skin issues due to wearing the niqab. Some few niqabis do get acne or oilier skin from it, but that is typically handled with additional care like special face wash or special fabric for the niqab

A niqabis face and hair is protected from all of the outside dirt, it has quite the opposite effect I think

You can get pimples as well as hair breakage and hair loss by wearing niqab and/or hijab too tightly. But if you were it more loosely and your skin can breath and your hair is not pinned up too strictly then you are basically fine 😉

I love you beautiful ladies and how you interact with your spouses and show you are just normal couples following a way of life you are devoted to,i wish there were more channels like this twenty years ago to break the stereotypes i have dear friends who are muslim and they sufferred terribly.ok my last comment is regarding divorce with not having children.after 911,my younger sis fell in love with a jordanian muslim but he was admittedly westernized..until after they got married in a court house elopement ...Abed was wonderful to all of us and to her ,but they fought iver raising children muslim or catholic.my own mother wouldnt meet him until he became a citizen she still never met .he took my sis to jordan ,and she saw the stricter side of the religion.but they came home and slowly things changed,he grew indifferent and when the brothers would come over ,the wives had to go in basement lol and this didnt go over well with her.i was sad to see them break up and make decisions that were painful because ultimately my sister got cancer and now she cant have children.i wish i knew then what i know now about the Quran and how she wasnt even a practicing catholic so her own ignorange cause a child to never be born and they went separate ways ...idk.its a shame..

Here is a question for the both of you: How do you tie your niquab underneath your hijab? Are there tapes that you tie in the back or do you have to pin it to the hijab to keep it in place? Also, are hijab and niquab comfortable to wear on a daily basis? What fabric are hijab and niquab made from? Thank you for teaching me about islam. I am not Muslim, however I have always enjoyed learning about religions that are different than my own. It is intresting to me to learn about how other peoples religions affect their daily lives and how people of different religions choose to live their lives.

I believe that a lot people confuse culture and religion. That divorce because of the woman cannot conceive is an Indian cultural idea. I live in a highly Indian populated area and this does happen. It has nothing to do with Islam since they are a different religion. I know of several families that are part of the Islam religion which include families from Turkey, Egypt and Macedonia. And they all practice the religion differently. They also have their cultural aspects too. Thanks for this video!! Keep doing what you are doing!
