I’m staggered that it has taken this long for the profession to make the connection between childhood trauma and Mental health. How could it NOT affect a persons mental health!

They knew about it. Many genuine psychiatrists proved that connection more than 30 years ago, unfortunately mainstream is controlled by pharmaceutical companies and they rather prescribe drugs for every single mental disorder that are part of complex trauma, instead of focusing on that trauma, cause it might actually help those people and would not need them to take multiple drugs for years or even life... Wrongly defined problem = wrong solution = continuous profit for those companies... and it's pretty sad that Tim is promoting pills... Even top experts in trauma like Bessel V. Kolk are saying that those pills are working just like alcohol - they numb patient, but they can't solve anything.

This topic NEEDS to be addressed in Family Courts. There are far too many children being forced to spend time with an abusive parent by the courts. I really hope that you have videos that teach safe parents how to work with their children to deal with this abuse while their kids are still young. My son was 8 when he was diagnosed with Anxiety, and at 14 was diagnosed with PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder.
