I'm a HUGE fan of your crash tests! With the trailer crash test you might rather concentrate on the underride prevention of the trailer than on the performance of the cars - similar to the IIHS a couple of years ago.

yeah but that didn't really improve things by that much, they only tested a couple of trailers more than a decade ago, manufacturers aren't willed to improve the safety performance of their products unless they are constantly tested, the 2024 ford expedition is a clear example of this

Passenger dummy in the first test gets obliterated. Crash test report: 'Acceptable'.

not obliterated, you can clearly see the airbag protecting the front passenger's head, the trailer didn't reach the front passenger's head, like it did in other crash tests, this explains the acceptable rating. While it's not perfect (the dashboard intruded and the airbag impacted the passenger's chest violently) it's still not "obliterated"
