Nice to see Lloyd and the lads getting some attention. They were big in my post-college years and I still listen to them frequently. Lloyd went on to have a nice solo career -- his album "Don't Get Weird On Me Babe" is outstanding. Personally I like the first and third Commotions records best, but "Easy Pieces" is still pretty solid. I think he was one of the more interesting 80's lyricists, and the stuff holds up very well for the most part.

Lloyd Cole brings back some good memories ,thank you .I am sure you both would enjoy ( The Christians) Forgotten Town ,Born Again ,When the Fingers Point .For starters .

Lloyd Cole has some great music - Check out Mr Malcontent or No Blue Skies. I love his voice.

Lloyd still tours and records mainly as a solo artist and still sounds as good, the band broke up mainly because their record company tried to force them to move in a more poppy direction than they wanted to.
