❤❤❤The whole album from where this song comes from "American Beauty" is an incredible album worth exploring on your own. Kudos to Robert Hunter - the lyrics and back story to many if the songs gets me choked up in tears sometime to this very day.

Great song and reaction. You’ll find the Grateful Dead have a huge following of people of all types. Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right (~);}

"Ripple" is lyrically, a top five song ever written. It's a Human Truth!! Thanks to the sublime Robert Hunter for words and immaculate Jerry Garcia for the melody. Every single version ever sung from anyone has a rippling effect of light,vision and evolution for the player and the listener, it's just that good, but Jerry Garcia just has a special way with it.

Recently in Washington, D.C. The Grateful Dead were given America's greatest honor for a career of music and the arts. Here's "Ripple" performed by Sturgill Simpson. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmOWk3mIlpWCZqM

;-( It really hit me when Jimmy and David popped up. Jimmy Buffett is possibly one of the biggest stars ever. I put him up there with the Grateful Dead. He was a Billionaire when he died and I thought only a few rappers reached that pinnacle.
