As far as Billie Eillish, you got it backwards. Billie was inspired by Aurora's song Runaway (which has over 500 million views) to become an artist also. Aurora is an amazing singer/songwriter/performer who sings right thru your soul with those angelic expressive eyes and hands.

Very nice reaction! This performance is one of her best IMHO - but if you ever wanna proceed with watching more Aurora you will not be disappointed. Because she is one of a kind.

Aurora is amazing, natural Artist with a lot of her own, great music (yes written be herself) and also some great covers (some made as a challenge within a hour). She is from Norway and starting to make music from 6 years and make English lyrics from 9 years old (even parents did not know about it for first years - it was her way to express emotions:) ). And if you talk about inspirations with Billie Eillish it was close guess, but it is opposite. When Billie Eillish saw/hear her Runaway song she was inspired to become artist too :). It is interesting, but a lot of us who naturally gravitate to heavier stuff "gets" Aurora quite fast. Obviously, her lyrics are more than heavy enough - not much "boy likes girl like boy" here. But there is also this heaviness in her musical writing/cord progressions and harmonics under that insane almost innocent-sounding voice (that also can turn both demanding and challenging and defying. You will have a ball discovering this diamond.

I find it interesting that the lyrics are so sad (violence in relationships leading to death) and on the other hand the music is very beautiful (harmonies) and doesn't give me that sad feeling.
