Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. You did find the right words and so much more. You immediately noticed Dimash's incredible stage presence and how he incarnates the song. You also put a quick caption, pointing out the use of his hands acting as his voice maestro. Because you wished it, I suggest 2 songs for your next Dimash reactions. The first song is from The Fifth Element movie, "The Diva Dance" (from the Bastau Concert). Yep he did that too. The second is "Sinful Passion" but specifically from the Moscow Concert fancam version. It is up close and personal with Dimash, his voice and his hands. You could do both in one single reaction as the Diva Dance cover is just over a minute long.

I believe you are referring to The videos from "G Wu's" KZbin channel. English Subtitles, and back ground stories for the songs some of which are about real people and events. It adds so much more to the experience. I have often suggested her channel to reactors, and when they do not avail themselves of these treasures, it is on them for missing so much.

Dimash is always perfect. His music wasn't my cup of tea...I thought. But I can't get his performances out of my head. They are so emotional and unbelievable really. My favorite is "Stranger (new wave 2021)". Performed within Russia but sung in English, it has everything this SOS clip you watched has and even more. Dimash is an alien. He has to be. No human here on earth can come close to singing like he does. Such a pure voice. Just an amazing young man with more talent than anyone else. S o s is the song that Dimash chose when he was invited to take part in a Chinese competition in 2017. The clip of him singing this went viral on you tube and gave him millions of Chinese fans too, . As you say, this song has EVERYTHING. Dimash has done three versions of the diva dance, all quite different. I’d recommend Stranger from New Wave 2021 which is in English. He tells a story in that one, and in actual fact, he tells a story in many of his songs.

Wonderful Reaction ❤. Many of us really want people to react so they themselves can be touched by Dimash, meaning the reactor, and of course getting Dimash’s name out to more people ❤. He composed himself over three years, direkted the MV, Acts himself- Great Production, and Deep meaningful Message to humanity. He is a very respectful person. Worked on his Voice Till Age 5, Plays 8 Instruments, speaks 4 laguages, performs in 17 languages, Studied music, has 3 Masters and doctorated once I think. He is a very nice Person too. Dimash has music in his Body instead of blood like other persons I think. My favorit songs are Ikanaide Your Love Ave Maria There is a lot to discover. 😊

Yes, there were 400 people in the production crew for the 2021 Digital Show during COVID. The Digital sets were incredible for the whole 1 3/4 hours. Dimash does do DIVA DANCE from the Fifth Element - there are fantastic performances of this song (all different), but my favourite is from Dimash’s first solo concert in Bastau, in 2017. It’s on Dimash’s KZbin channel.
