Yeah cuz the dems are giving the MOST in need $750 (which many are saying they're being denied). Yet dems have sent over 60 BILLION dollars to Ukraine. The border crisis has cost us over 16 million in medical costs alone. Add an additional 100 billion for housing, welfare, and school costs. Global warming won't matter when we all starve because we have too many people soaking off the government and nobody paying taxes. Can't get that government cheese without someone else paying for it.

I experienced Hurricane Andrew, fortunately on Miami Beach; which didn’t receive the entire brunt of the Storm… as it did in West Dade County. There were Tornadoes that weren’t thru our Neighborhood. The fortunate thing I spoke of is that Hurricane Andrew didn’t bring torrents of Rain. I remember how fast that System was created. My friends and I went to Lollapalooza the day before; we barely had enough time to get the Antique Cyprus Shutters that were created for this 1934 Home. We had no Power for over Two Weeks; constant Chain Saws droning down the street in the Neighborhood Park… of course being August; Hot, Humid and No Wind. Florida Power and Light never fixed the Two Transformers correctly… so for the next Ten years; the Power would just go out… from some mystical perspective… it was aggravating and disturbing. Finally; I called another Phone Number I found… the Representative was very kind. Finally they sent an experienced Crew… they found the problem. But for those Ten Years having your Power go out at least twice a month… drove me crazy(I have asthma also; so I did purchase a battery operated Nebulizer) I had Bougainvillea Topiaries that were at least 50 Years old lining the Brain Coral Walkway… they were completely flattened… my Huge Ficus tree looked as if an Electric Mixer destroyed all the limbs… just sticks out of the huge trunk. Lost Date Palms, Royals and other Trees. That Hurricane also brought a bad Fungus that kills Palm Trees. A Ton of African Dust covers South Florida during La Niña years. Take good care🕊 My apologies; for rambling on… we had multiple Hurricanes, Tropical Storms, Winter Storms and Torrential Rain Falls that actually washed away a Newly Dredged Beach(rained 9 days straight) that was created begin the Fountain Blue Hotel (Mid-Miami Beach) which I can see the Hotel 6-7 Blocks away looking out my East Window. I hope the Winds during Milton won’t be over 75 Miles per hour on the East Coast… more worried about the Flooding. Be well; sending love, joy and healing to those suffering. 💕🕊🙏

Thats a man who understands this is the new normal. We're going to have to create a category above 5
@jamesaron1967Ай бұрын
Well, a Cat 5 is already at or near total destruction around the eye wall when it hits the coastline. A higher ranking won't indicate an increase in absolute destruction, it would only widen the path of the destruction since the storm could carry more of its strength as it moved inland. So, higher categories have no major benefit except possibly in increasing evacuation areas. That must be why they never introduced higher categories. Incidentally, during the 1800s there were Caribbean hurricanes with sustained winds estimated at around 250 mph. Much stronger storms than the Cat 5 storms we've seen since the last century are not only possible but have already occurred in the historical record.
@WazoobiumNitrateАй бұрын
@@jamesaron1967 yes they have happened but they were consudered abnornal. The frequency with which they occur is increasing and they have to be accounted for
@jamesaron1967Ай бұрын
@@WazoobiumNitrate Who knows, maybe they will need to add another category if the frequency of these rare storms increases. The more I think about it the more necessary it might be just for the larger evacuation zones to save lives. It could happen.
@WazoobiumNitrateАй бұрын
@@jamesaron1967 it's important because wind speed is a factor. The categories are about 30mph away from eachother in terms of wind speed. 157 is where category 5 starts so if a hurrucane comes in pushing 200 mph windspeeds people need to know about the elevated risk. Cat 5 is as bad as it gets right bow but there's still a difference between unchecked destruction and the map veung wiped clean. There's zero chance of survival no matter where you go
