The older he got he became less excited u can tell he just got distant he was so talkative and full of laughter. The industry & Joseph really had a big impact on his life. The two destroyed him inside. but he was always loving caring for the children animals and mother earth. he was truly an ANGEL !

@1:52 Interviewer: " What are you gonna do when your voice changes, are you gonna still be able to sing" Michael Jackson: "See me in 1979" By 21yo the album "Off The Wall" sold more 9 million copies in it's first 6 months of release. Released 8/10/1979 MJ's birthday being 8/29/1979. What a helluva 21st birthday, which in 3 weeks the album was just over 500,000 copies sold. A magnitude for the date, time, and era.

Ive been on a Jackson 5/Michael jackson binge for literally a couple of months now Lol, and I finally got to see what Michael REALLY meant when he said he didnt have a child hood 😞 I wasn't born until the 80s, so the only thing I ever knew was his solo career...I was aware that he was famous as a child, but I didn't know it was to such a massive extent!! Rehearsing, singing, dancing, traveling since the age of 5...honestly, with the TONS of videos I've watched, it really seemed like child abuse!!!! having a child that young, to carry a singing group, even tho he had brothers that were teenagers) was beyond too much responsibility and pressure!! of course becuz he was the most talented performer of his brothers, but he should've never had that type of weight placed on him!!!! Smh, a part of me wishes he had never blown up the way he did...it seemed like his life was so painful, lonely and agonizing! And the media ripped him TO SHREDS!! Nearly 45 straight yrs of performing, screaming fans, tabloids, media and paparazzi ...day in day, out!! Can u imagine?!!??! 😫 i wish he cud have lived a normal life.....but I cudnt begin to think what things wud be like without Michael Jackson- he truly changed the world, was a trailblazer in TOO MANY WAYS to count and made so many people happy over the years with his talent!! My childhood was superb, partly becuz of Michael and being able to view his absolutely, electric global solo career!! ...even tho he enjoyed performing, his real life appeared tormented!!!! If only he had gotten a chance to experience consistent happiness outside performing on stage ...sigh

Started reading his autobiography moonwalk and he showed a picture of him at 5 years old and his story is heartbreaking it was definitely abuse but it doesn't go too much into these details so far about the actual abuse in detail but I've seen interviews where he's talking about it crying private phone conversations

He was young, mentally healthy and not scared by life yet. I love him happy, he was at his best then. I remember him like this first hand and I've seen him fall apart before the publics eyes. It's heartbreaking to watch what he once was and to watch him deteriorate before our eyes. When Michael made Thriller he went into orbit and never came down. Thriller was his blessing and his curse. I wish we could go back to once was. R.I.P. Michael........................................

Oh I think he di considering all the abuse that he had from his father at such a young age. But obviously they can't share that in the public. But being treated like an animal or like a dollar sign your entire life and as that grows and not having a social life your entire life because everybody treats you differently is an incredibly isolating and something none of us will ever understand. And that completely takes a toll to be that isolated and treated horribly. But there's tons of videos of him being happy when he's an adult. But everybody likes to continue talking about all the horrible things those horrible things are only there because people were treating him horribly and if a sensitive person is getting treated horribly of course it's going to take a toll

He himself told that he is the happiest during off the wall and thriller times... It was that Pepsi accident guys... After that, he was shattered and lost his confidence. Before that he was a free and cheerful lad. Damn that pyro technician.. he changed MJ's life forever. No idea if he ever did realize what damage he did to the mankind... MJ ❤️ forever

I think before Thriller he was famous but stull able to venture out to clubs and what not without causing to much commotion. After Thriller and Motown 25 when the super stardom hit he caused so much commotion he withdrew into himself. It caused him to be shy and with drawn and seemed like he was less happy.

Slow your roll on Joe. He was a great man, despite his flaws. If there were no Joe, there'd be no Jackson 5. Be clear on that point. Think Earl Woods, Richard Williams. Great men who had a definite plan for their children. Flawed methodologies and personal frailties, notwithstanding.
