Yep...those years was during his "absolute" prime---that's when your mental game is high with your physical skills. He had no weaknesses during that time. As a matter of fact, go look at players around the ages of 27 or 28-30, they all were hard to stop (Bird, Kobe, Curry, LeBron, Shaq, Wade, etc).

He was the complete package---was hitting the 3-ball, mid-range, patented fadeaways, footwork, still had the quickness (1st step), counter moves, etc, etc, etc. I think athletically, he had went down some from 91 & 92 but not much. As we get older I even appreciate MJ’s game even more than I ever have and I’m a huge fan. It’s always interesting to hear what other fans of his have to say about their experiences watching him thru his career. With the way the NBA is played today it makes me really appreciate the game back then. MJ being the face of the league just brought that excitement and not knowing what he was going to do, cause we new he was capable of just about anything.

Tv, magazines and word of mouth is all we had. Then we could go outside with your friends and play fun competitive sports being inspired by cats like MJ! He just says dad you got to move on 😂 😂!!

What I’ve never noticed before is how many times MJ came down from his jump shot on or near the defenders foot. Starks especially was so close to Jordan on his jumpers, you just couldn’t play defence like that now. You always see players fall over and get fouls on jump shots if the defence is anywhere near them when they land. Just another reason why MJ would be more unstoppable in today’s game.

my fav year and MJ sneaker along with the XI's and XIII's, V's and X's. MJ was at his peak in the early 90s. I always thought the 93 MJ was starting to transition into that 95-98 MJ. Yes, with playing 91-92 season plus 92 Olympics and 92/93 season that’s almost 2 years straight of playing non stop. So he started incorporating the fadeaway during the 93 season. He was most dominant driving to the basket, his mid-range was at the peak, he had the quickest first step, his post game was beginning to come into his own, his defense was at the peak, his IQ was second to none, and he was still the most competitive in sports and the greatest will to win. @@essentialjordan23 True, definitely 92 was an epic version of MJ, but that's why I gave the nod to the 93 version because the 92 version of MJ was the full flourishing of his arsenal and the peak of his basketball athleticism. If you remember once he step away from the NBA for that year in a half and then came back, he lost some of his basketball athleticism, but he did gain more tools from his bag in other areas, it just wasn't the same as that 93 mountain top MJ. No cap though 92 MJ was ridiculous and wouldn't been must see TV in today's NBA.
