Yep! As far as I am concerned Ben was the best physical representation of Batman, however each of the contemporary actors brought something special. Michael on forward. I only recently saw Michael's version, was surprised in a good way. Same with the other trilogy actor who was the second best physically, who's name escapes me at this moment.

@@eddyp483 There were issues that Keaton wasn't getting top billing, but the villain's were. I "think" that was an issue for Keaton, that he was the lead role, but billed 2nd, and then you had DeVito, and Feiffer overshadowing. And then there is the "Studio" issue with Burton. I think they had a falling out with Burton, and Keaton said if Burton's out, I'm out.

That's exactly what it did and he explains that in other interviews how he used his uncomfortable and anxious feeling inside the suit in his performance which he used to make himself angry and out for vengeance, suffice to say it worked!!!

That Robocop suit he wore had even less mobility that the first Batsuit. Keaton could sit down on his own (which was still tricky, because getting back was the hard part), Peter Weller had to the lower half of the suit removed completely in scenes they filmed him driving!

The fact that sets it apart is that Burton has an eye for gloomy dark places like Gotham and is a great visually thinking guy. Gotham looks 100 tiles better than in the Nolan movies. It's dirty, there's smoke, there's dark corners, haunting alleys, all that. It felt much more like Gotham in the old comics
