Lex, this was phenomenal. It helped me a lot tonight. I’m a single parent who works 60 plus hours a week while building a business on the side. I rarely get time to slow down but I’ve been off work since Wednesday for the holiday and I’ve been in an introspective mood all day. For some reason, this conversation helped me. I’ve felt very alone the past while. Working third shift doesn’t help that feeling. This podcast lifted me up and made me laugh quite a bit about the absurdity of life. Thank you. I like all your podcasts but these goofy conversations with Michael are the best. I wish you both the best. Thanks again for making me laugh tonight as I hook up these Bitcoin miners and dial in the new firmware I’m switching to.

@@maiteoliveraharris7300 That’s a very nice thing to say, I appreciate that. Once my daughters got to a certain age with only a Dad, I decided that bringing in another female wasn’t the right thing for our home and our unique dynamic. It works really well and I didn’t want to mess it up or complicate it unless I found the perfect fit. Never did find that but didn’t really seek it out either. My daughters and I are really closely bonded. I decided I would start dating again after they go to college. They’re 16 and 17 now. I’ve had them by myself since they were 4 and 5. We laugh a lot together. I’ll meet someone eventually once they go to college and we’re almost there. I was afraid that I would meet someone and really like her and they would reject her and it’d get complicated. I’ve done a little dating and they rejected both of them. Honestly, I think they get a little jealous and protective of me and don’t think anyone is good enough, lol. Don’t know why I told you all this, random person on the internet.

I started my husband on “Dry Shaving” when we were dating. I collect odd/cool antiques. I started my mustache holding coffee cups. That led me to my first “Dry Shaving” cup on accident. I thought this old coffee cup was cool because it didn’t have a handle. My mom then gave me a lesson on soap mugs/cups. My mom being a barber, also collected soap mugs. I’ve purchased a few from her. At my mom’s Barber Shop, the older gentleman would have their specific mug and soap displayed in a case. When they came in for a straight edge shave 🪒 and haircut, my mom would pull their mug out of the case. All of her customers would give their mug to mom when they knew thier time was getting shorter or could no longer come in for a shave. I’m going to look up the different soaps you mentioned. There’s only one store within 100 miles of us, that sell shaving soaps. I’m definitely going to look up the brands Michael mentioned. I hope Michael puts links or a list out on his socials. I truly enjoy when both of you do shows/podcasts together. I’m a smarter, more patient, and happier person after watching you. 🥰
